hello goobers! so in honor of shark week and also bc half of it is in July and July is my birthday month and i fricking love sharks imma be changing my pfp to vox/vincent (from hazbin) bc he loves sharks too and hes also my favraorate character at the monet so it just works out.

earlier this month it was my birthday! -if you did not see the last post which is perfectly fine!- yay :3 (won't say what specifics for safety purposes) it was a fun birthday ^^ and thank you to everyone that said happy birthday, y'all are amazing <3

now for the art! July is the month for disability pride month and was established on the 26th. (I'm posting this at midnight so if this is on the 27th DONT come for me please!) I only found this out at the beginning of this July and I thought it was so cool! I really hope this month becomes more mainstream and other monthly celebrations because its really important to represent everyone in the world and let everyone get a chance to shine. that was corny but its true! oh! and to also be represented when there's so many stereotypes that block other disability's being known as disability's. like when we tell people we are HARD OF HEARING they sometimes (of course not everyone) automatically think we are straight up deaf, which we are not lol we also have ADD and DID so some people are silly silly dumb dumbs that don't know what that is either. ANYWHO

FUN FACT: we have a mild to severe, unilateral hearing loss in our right ear due to the cochlea -that spiral looking thing- not fully developing.

HELLO GOOBERS it's been a while hasn't it!

Oh, how we just miss y'all so much ^^ (even though we JUST posted a few days ago), and it HAS BEEN a WHILE since the last odd talk, so get ready for a mouthful!

NUMBER ONE- We were thinking about this earlier when our dad asked us to do something, and I swear, we did five different other things before I actually did the thing my dad asked me to do, and that's my undiagnost ADHD talkin'

yes, we are not diagnosed with anything, but we are pretty sure we have everything NEXT STATMENT

NUMBER TWO- I believe we said this in our thank you post a little ways back, about how some ppl have said online friends aren't like real friends and whatnot. NOT TRUE! Some of our favorite people are online, and one of them is even popular. It's more of a mutual relationship if you think about it- BUT STILL

no matter if you are online friend or not, we love y'all the same and thank you for putting up with the weird stuff we do <3

NUMBER THREE- not really much to say for number three, actually, but uh... what's your favorite character? And why? or better, favorite OC you have made.

I have a lot of favorite characters, but right now one of my favorite characters is Spider-Man ^^ no, that is not why my name is MJ, moving on, and fav oc is Bo. He is a waiter and bus-boy (is that how you spell that?) with a wooden crate for a head :3 I'll explain one day but for now just know he is my baby boy and will fight in war for him >:3

for the one who were wondering, we have not fallen off the edge of the earth! which is great in itself BUT LOOK WHAT I DREW X3 I've been meaning to update our pfp for a while now and I'm very happy and proud with how this turned out ^^

I do want to apologize for no Mother's Day art. Mother's Day is a very important day for us, and it sucks that we couldn't make art :( (don't worry, I'll probably just do it late)

Anyway, I will be doing a new thing now where I'm going to try to draw every OC we have EVER created because there are a lot of them and some of never even been drawn before, so new mission! Well, it will be more of a side mission as I am actually starting the writing process with that mudermedia fanfic I mentioned like a month ago or something ( if you get it, you get it, but if you don't, just go look for it if you'd like on my page :3 Or maybe I'm just delusional and forgot to mention it somewhere, but if I'm not arting, I'm writing)

So, we just read a fanfic called 'Gated Audio' by sophiewritesandstuff on AO3. It's about Alastor becoming deaf due to the multiple gunshot's he heard while he died. I'm hard of hearing, so this was very touching but really sad at the same time. This next part may be seen as a spoiler, so skip to the next paragraph er something- Vox learns sign language, somehow pronounces words better for Al to lip-read him, AND projects subtitles onto his screen!! WHAT? HOLY COMMITMENT!

I'm gonna be honest, it's a miracle for someone to even acknowledge that someone has a hearing loss without them being completely deaf nowadays, but the idea of Vox doing all of that just for Alastor to hear him seriously does something to my heart.

We would like to add that hearing loss comes in a wide range, from not being able to hear for sh!t/p to just not having the grade A hearing most people have. So having a very relatable character have something unique has hearing loss, if very cool to us <3

Also, (spoiler!) Alastor calls his hearing aids 'radio ears' because apparently, that's what some versions back then were called, and I have no word besides how perfect that is.

10/10 fanfic, PLEASE go read it and support the creator X3
