For me, it’s showers. That period in your day when you’ve got no distractions, no tasks, no messages to reply to, no banter about that thing. It’s just you, 4 walls and the hot water drowning out your distractions. It’s there where my guilt and anxiety plagues me. Pushing through the barrrier of time passed. Alone with your thoughts. That inescapable reminder of your life failings just before bed. Sweet dreams.

The guilt of my past mistakes hangs over me like a cloud i just can’t escape. Plagues me. Tortures me.
