I am always over the moon with Erin Featherston designs. Whimsical and feminine, I love her style. She has adorable featured videos called “Charmed I’m Sure” on her website.
Erin created this black & lace cat ear headband in a segment called “Kitty Crafts”.

I love discovering new venues to see live shows, and Hotel Café on the Cahuenga strip in Hollywood is a new favorite! It’s intimate, elegant, cool, and I love the dark ambiance. I learned that one of my favorite local bands, The Devious Means, were playing. They were amazing, as per usual. We also saw The Young Romans who put on a good performance as well.
Before my sister and I went to Hotel Cafe, we stopped at Saint Felix’s for a quick bite (It was walking distance and just across the street). Happy Hour on the weekends at 7:00??! Awesome. Perfect for lounging and enjoying a cocktail, Saint Felix had a very cool atmosphere. I had a “happy meal” which was a delicious slider with sweet potato fries, and a beer—so basically heaven. It was the perfect small, yet fulfilling meal for a pre-show supper. I really want to visit both Saint Felix and Hotel Café again :)
Wish these were still available! Love these looks. Zoe Kazan for the Warby Parker / Leith Clark collaboration. https://www.warbyparker.com/
LA Country Nights
Last week my sister and I went to Bardot in Hollywood to catch some live music. I love seeing live shows! I haven’t been for a while, so when I heard one of my favorite artists was playing, I had to go! Performing was Sam Outlaw, a country artist from LA.

Mad Men Severance
Did you see the premier of Mad Men this week?
Don Draper + gorgeous girl + Peggy Lee + Is That All There Is = so fabulous. I’ve always loved that Peggy Lee song; it’s sort of sweet and sad at the same time and often chosen in film and TV shows when there is some sort of bittersweet or surreal scene (After Hours, Sex in the City, etc.).
Is That All There Is seems like it was made for Mad Men; it suits the show so perfectly. The song bookends the episode: from the scene in the beginning, to the scene of Don Draper sitting at the diner, - Nighthawks style. This particular episode had a very dreamlike quality, including a surprising call back from a previous season!
Plus, Peggy’s date.... Devon Gummersall aka Brian Krakow from My So-Called Life, eek! So excited for the next episode.
Oh, and the Stan crush is back 💖💖💖
