The Last Thing You Gave to me - Chapter two

He glanced sideways at Owen as he slipped back into his chair, not seeming entirely bothered that Owen was extremely close to him now - there was a very slight wariness in his posture now, a stark contrast to the vague affection that had held him before, when Owen was small and cradled in his hands. Owen did not miss it. 

Owen watched him for a long moment, tracing his gaze over the shadows under the doctor’s eyes that weren’t entirely cast by the lamplight, noting the way his hand shook slightly when he dipped his pen in ink. He noticed, likely to the doctor’s chagrin if he had known, the way his breath rattled slightly in his chest when he inhaled, and the faint smell of an oncoming illness. 

“It’s late,” Owen mused.

vsmp is the reason i started writing and drawing again, it’s the reason my art is at the level it is at today. vsmp is the reason i have bonded with so many people, formed friendships, and gained so many lovely mutuals.

vsmp is the reason that i am a staple in the mcyt art community, that my art is recognized and i, as a person, continue to feel loved and valued on this corner of the internet.

vsmp is the reason i met my best friend, of which i am meeting up with irl for the first time today! (im actually shaking im so excited)

and although this may be a rough patch in the community, this is not a reason to allow this to destroy everything you felt, everything that vsmp meant to you. the fans and supporters of this show made it to be what it is today, and i am forever grateful for that.

also hmmmmm yeah i wonder who i could have possibly met up with… 🤔🤔
