Iβm still traumatised from that (and the bitchy private FB group which came out of it).
Remember when they scoured all our posts for spicy content and we had to appeal to get pictures that had our knees or shoulders approved as βnon spicyβ content? And then now we have to block 5+ spicy bots daily because they canβt control shit.

This is a serious thing. Im curious how many people over the course of year(s) kept the same tumblr handle. A ton of the people I follow have changed their over time.

Happy Halloween from my family π
I got hit on today by a guy who seemed to be like 23 at most. It's honestly been at least 5 years since I last remember something like that happening to me. It was a little flattering but mostly alarming. Doesn't he know I could practically be his mom?!? Also how sweet. He was a very attractive young man. If I was his mother, I would say he was quite good looking. π€£And I'm not sure what that says about my wife/family/him that we were all together and he had zero idea that we were a unitπ€¦πΌββοΈ
Anyway. That's my weird brain dump for today
Best part of my day is just watching her sleep for a minute. Reminding myself it's not ALL bad, it just feels that way some times.
Turkey started therapy 3 weeks ago. but really, is there even any therapy that does any good at 5 years old? That's an actual question for anybody who might know. It's play therapy so can they even help her? It might be my own fears and traumas but I'm just so terrified she's going to end up like Bean. She's starting to show the early signs of the same outbursts and aggressions that Beanie has. And I think there *could* be part of it that is learned behavior, she's growing up with a sister who acts that way but what if they end up with the same diagnosis. What if this is my future? I don't even know how to wrap my brain around that thought and I honestly just cry about it many times a week. My sweet baby. I don't know why but I really just thought she would be okay. I thought she had a chance at a semblance of a normal life without some weird kind of diagnosis. Normal foster care/ adoption sucks trauma yes of course, but she doesn't have a history that would lead me to believe should be looking at extra shit and it's just not fair.

2nd covid vaccine for my sweet five-year-old, followed by ice cream and lunch at McDonald's (her pick) plus a target-date. Just her and I. We had lots of fun, then hard conversations about the world. This kid is such a delight. She is smart and funny and thoughtful and intuitive. We talked about guns and death very frankly and appropriately for her level. She told me about her fears and I got to be the one to give her a million hugs and kisses. She told me when I die she's going to put me in the ground, then she followed it up with but wait, how will I carry you? π€π€£ I'm just so proud I get to be her mom and I just wish I didn't have to teach her all these things before the world does.

Turkey turned 5 this weekend! She asked for a big fancy unicorn dress so we looked for one together online.
