Rocking Horses, not the easiest to track down; they tend to hide in large cave systems. Their entire body is charged with powerful energy that bursts out near its head and rear. They are often found with Jockies on them. Jockies are the small orange slug-like creatures that latch onto Rocking Horses. You see, the Rocking Horse doesn't control its energy output, and unchecked it will blow up on itself. The Jockies latch on and feed on this energy, keeping the Horse from blowing up and getting themselves a meal.

The Horse's skin is tough to get through with most weapons, and in battle you need to be careful not to blow it up by accident.

Eggkeepers, one of the most common kaiju we have to deal with. Creepy fellas. What at first glance seems to be its head is actually a decoy, its real eyes, dozens of them, are in its "tail", with its eggs. Eggkeepers reproduce like crazy, that's what makes them so annoying to deal with. The females eat the males after mating, then stick their eggs to their tail-head things. They got 4 pairs of appendages, two legs and two arms. They can swap between any two sets to walk with, making them a nightmare rough terrain and cramped areas. Luckily, they aren't too hard to take care of, just make sure to squash the eggs.

Then a few months ago I heard she was coming to the states.

Today I went to the mall.

I almost cried when I saw her.

The Sunrise Reaper, one of the most terrifying kaiju documented. Lucky for us, they lay their eggs in the ocean, where sea monsters wait to eat them. The few who live long for metamorphosis crawl up on land, where the Parasitic Huskmaker is waiting for them. Huskmakers latch onto the backs of the larvae and take full control of the body. They can then suck the fat lad dry in about a year, just in time to hop to the new vessel to suck dry. I know seeing the larvae fumble around the shore with those horrid shells on their backs may make you feel bad for the Reapers, but remember it's a hell of a lot easier to stop a Huskmaker from wrecking some bloke's beach house than stopping a fully-grown Sunrise Reaper wipe out a city.

Of course, a few larvae can avoid the Huskmakers, they make their cocoons, then other larger kaiju come by and eat them up while they're immobile. We can usually clear out all the cocoons ourselves. If they're lucky, one larva a year will make it to adulthood.

When they're lucky, we have no choice but to pray.
