a bit about my fallout ocs :3 idk if anyone was interested but iâve been thinking of reviving them; iâve had these guys since like 2015 if not earlierâŚ.waoow but yeah! if anybody talks to me abt them iâll love you forever 𩷠anyways!! onto the rambling
okay so iâll split these up into my 3 and new vegas ocs; i sadly donât have any for the other games yet but my brain is storming to make more lol. but firstly, my fo3 ones:
noel thorne (i donât reeeally remember his last name so i might edit it)
- he was the first one i think i ever made actually
- around mid 20s, bi curious white boy
- i believe his backstory was that his mother was a hunter who was able to secure a deal with tenpenny tower while pregnant; food in exchange for a safe place to stay (it also helped that she would work with security too), so thatâs where he grew up. very spoiled and sheltered, and very apprehensive of change. but, the lone wanderer (an old friend used to have an oc for the lw that we shipped with noel </3 i miss them) gets him to get out and explore eventually.
- very technophobic and anxious around machinery; it just doesnât make sense to him
- also very germaphobic and dirt-avoidant. Like yeaaa itâs hard for things to stay clean in the wasteland no matter where you are, but heâs very much used to tenpenny towerâs relative ânicenessâ that mud and piles of muck will literally make him sick. Bro is just generally neurotic too
- loveeees piano. His mother had holotapes of piano music and he wants to find a piano to play so bad
- he prefers to not fight, but will use pistols or similar small guns
- in addition, his tagged skills would be small guns, barter, and maaaaybe speech? I canât decide if heâs actually charismatic or just puts on the air of being charismatic
cheryl âcherryâ ferguson
- originally she was like. 19 when i made her but iâd say sheâs around late 20s now, trans femme lesbian, white with scottish ancestry
- she grew up a little lamplight kid, being nicknamed âcherryâ for her red hair but that suited her just fine; honestly the nickname came first and she picked her chosen name around that but she just likes being called cherry
- after turning 18, of course she was sentenced to go to big town and she does occasionally rest there but sheâs more of the adventuring type and likes to wander
- she works as a mercenary sometimes, not because she particularly enjoys violence either but she always wants an excuse to explore or go treasure hunting
- always wears that one pre-war pink dress outfit and a green neck scarf which was the only thing she still has that belonged to her parents
- massive sweet tooth; girl will hoard boxes of sugar bombs and eat them straight out the package
- her tagged skills would be unarmed (she uses a power fist! this was before i even knew about veronica but honestly hell yeah they would be friends), survival, and lockpick (probably something she just picked up; i can imagine her as a mischievous kid breaking into stuff lol)
- she loves mole rats; would definitely have the animal friend perk
and now the new vegas ones! I definitely wanna create more but sticking to authenticity, here are my old ones
amos barlow
- probably the youngest, around 20 to 22 i donât remember; he was originally intended to be mixed white/native american but as a young kid i just slapped a label on him; i wanna rewrite him and do actual research to make sure his portrayal isnât disrespectful if that makes sense! i always strive for accuracy and respect when making any characters that belong to an identity iâm not apart of so if anybody had any notes/tips for not just him but any of the others i need to work on please lmk!!
- but yeah, he grew up a member of the boomers but was not into their xenophobic thing so he had to cut ties with his parents and now he chills out working with the crimson caravan doing repairs for them while he figures out his life and tries to unlearn his prejudices
- very much a loner because he had to be, but he longs for friendship :( very awkward socially when he tries to talk to others but heâs very enthusiastic
- gay, but itâs new vegas nobody really gaf
- spent lots of time tinkering with machinery as a kid; he likes the detail oriented work and doing something physical. He also likes it because it makes him feel useful and like he belongs
- a real gentle guy at heart; heâs good and trained with big scary weapons but he also prefers to use his skills for something that isnât destructive after learning of the boomers reputation in the wasteland (i need to make some evil ocs, all of these old ones are goodie two shoes LMAO)
- has a little sister named tansy
- naturally curious and inquisitive also; a very deep ponderer and brooder
- has a middle tooth gap
- actually really good at singing but heâs kinda too shy to show it off
- tagged skills would be explosives, repair, and perhaps survival? Itâs hard to choose
virginia thomas
- she is unfortunately my least developed one so a lot of this might change as i think about these characters more
- mid 30s-ish, black, bisexual/she doesnât really care as long as she can form a connection with someone
- she originally was a former enclave scientist but i really donât know if her being a part of the enclave had any meaningful impact or made sense at ALL so she may be a traveling rogue scientist or a followers of the apocalypse doctor instead. This will probably also influence the rewriting of her family and backstory
- in terms of her personality though, sheâs also curious, as well as passionate and caring about the topics sheâs interested in and she can talk for hours about her favorite subjects
- speaking of that, i think the focus of her studies could be the study of radiations effects on plant life, water, and the weather cycles (her and keely would hit it off probably)
- can warp her words Really well, and possiblyyyy uses this to her advantage to gain information sometimes. She never has malicious intentions, but is very goal-oriented and wants to do what it takes to achieve these goals; she seems to know what to say at just the right time
- big nerd and bookworm, equally as happy to do practical research to back up her knowledge
- collects pre-war toys like nuka cola trucks and robot figurines
- literal sweetie pea, in my head sheâs so cutieful and just cares so much about the world and rebuilding the wasteland and she has so much hope despite everything
- tagged skills would be science, energy weapons, and speech
and yeah those are all of them for now!! I am an oc making fiend though so that probably wonât be for long LOL
also iâm noticing that i have a pattern of characters that belong to/were born into highly isolationist factions for a reason iâm not sure of and may just have been a result of my child brain wanting to be cool and different. Today I wanted to talk about Marlow Trottie. Marlow was a 35 year old Black woman living in Louisiana, whose friends and family described as always having "a smile on her face" and as being "literally the sweetest person Iâve ever met!â, according to Them news' Quispe LĂłpez.
Marlow Trottie was killed on June 8th 2026. She was found dead, alone, in the streets of Alexandria, Louisiana. It was a homicide.
Marlow Trottie was a woman. Her family has contested this, and publicly misgendered her, and many news sites have already deadnamed and misgendered her as well. I fear what her obituary will say. I fear what her gravestone will say even more.
She joins a growing list of other trans women who have been killed simply for existing. Again from Them news, that list now numbers 11 women from the past 3 months alone.

- canât decide if him or mobius is the oldest of the bunch, so iâll just say theyâre the same age/very minuscule difference

- i think theyâre all autistic in some way ngl but klein would vehemently deny it and insist upon the âperfectionâ of his mind
- i think he would like lounging with a good glass of whiskey and a pipe with a classical or jazz record on. Just a classic sort of guy! Very traditional at heart but open-minded for his time, at least before the robot body-ification and his memory loss
- likes savory and rich foods, I imagine he would be kinda embarrassed of any âindulgencesâ though
- i very much imagine him in general as someone who dismisses all things fun and frivolous but longs to just finally relax. If that makes sense? like bro really needs to just let loose

- not sure if he would be gay, bisexual, or asexual honestlyâŚtbh he strikes me as someone who really doesnât care for labels and just does his own thing both in terms of gender and sexuality
- took immaculate care of his skin and hair when he had a body, bro had that luscious beard for a reason
- i think he used to bond with borous over cool bug facts
- his chem addictions began mostly because of grief over what happened to the others and what happened to the mojave as a result of their carelessness, as well as the isolation he kept himself in
- naturally smarter than all the others probably though in terms of raw intelligence and logic but with a compassionate nature to compliment it
- i can see him being the tallest of the group; a gentle giant if you will, with an intimidating demeanor but mostly pleasant personality
- has a bit of a sweet tooth and likes sodas, and klein would always get on his back about how unhealthy that stuff is (i think this is said somewhere in canon that he enjoys nuka cola but idr)
dr. borous
- it might just be me projecting but bro is a bpd warrior in my eyes and the others have gotten so used to his sudden mood changes that theyâre just annoyed (itâs okay dude i feel you). dealt with neglect at the very least at the hands of his father but he also represses anything that he considers to be âwrongâ with himself
- an actual encyclopedia of animal knowledge; this is canon pretty much yeah but he just gets along much better with animals much more than people because they just love unconditionally and give him the attention that he never got from his family or peers
- also has a fondness for even the âweirdâ and âgrossâ creatures because of his own outcast status
- i honestly donât know what i imagine for his sexuality/gender identity. definitely has an interest in women, but maybe curious about other things? he would know firsthand that biology doesnât conform to the roles that society has set but would maybe be nervous to act on/express those thoughts for fear of more rejection
- again, generally prefers to be alone and is kinda shocked/uncomfortable if any of the others made an effort to socialize with him
- can sleep in the oddest positions and likes small, enclosed spaces. He finds them comforting and safe (bro would be the type to sleep in a dog crate; no judgement tho that sounds awesome)

- to absolutely nobodies surprise, i am projecting again and i see him as a trans man (think tank more like WOKE TANK) but bro is not fluid about it at all and is very strict on himself to appear as masculine as possible and that is also why others getting his name wrong gets to him so badly
- i think he and dala would (after a lot of effort to break down his emotional walls) would be able to have deep talks about their identities and bond over their feelings of perhaps not being enough or having to dull parts of themselves to be seen in the ways they want to be seen; i really think they would get along very well together
- again, Lots of walls built up to protect himself and feels uncomfortable opening up
- high school friends/acquaintances with borous (i think this is also canon already somewhat) and i think they wouldâve been pretty close growing up but something made them kinda drift apart imo but they would also talk for hours and take comfort in each others presence
