I think I can live with that, as long as Iâm inflicting the good kind of pain. Well, I do try. Iâd like to think that old-fashioned, chivalry isnât just a thing of the past, and can be easily revived through simple acts such as holding the door and letting the ladies go out first, or placing my hand a few inches away from their backs as they cross the street. You definitely embody all those qualities, Miss Fabray, although do allow me to replace âclassâ with âgraceâ since thatâs only fitting for someone as graceful as you. I see, are you nervous? Ah, you caught me there. I donât have the heart to give them away, even though itâs been years since I last indulged myself by putting them on. If you could be any superhero, who would you be? Iâm so sorry to hear that, Quinn. Itâs bizarre, isnât it, to look up to them so much when we were kids, but then we grew up, and suddenly we begun to realize and understand that perhaps they werenât so perfect after all. That they, like us, are merely humans.
I find it hard to believe that the odds of love could ever be in my favor, and itâll most likely diminish further once we get too prescriptive about age, gender, and even sexual orientation. Does that mean you arenât taking the whole thing seriously even though youâre intrigued by it?Â
Thatâs a great quality to have, and to tell you the truth Iâm quite envious, since I always tend to conform rather than to experiment. Change is scary to me, but Iâm working on it as we speak. Why, I think you might have just given me an excellent idea for this Valentineâs Day, Miss Fabray. What about now? Do you still do ballet?Â
Definitely the good kind of pain is acceptable, you know youâre doing something right when youâre cheeks feel numb. I like old-fashioned, Iâm all for going half on a bill, but I feel like some guys nowadays are very chauvinistic, well from what Iâve grown up with. Yes, simple things like walking on the outside, holding a door and such make you feel comfortable. You should tell that to my ballet teacher, she said I needed grace and now I finally have some. Yes and no, I know Iâve done my best and Iâd fit in really well here, but maybe they donât see potential in me. Same with my childhood toys, I couldnât give them away, I have them still in my old room at my mothers house. Super girl, she has exceptional powers, x-ray vision would come in handy, and the outfit is cute. I thought my dad was the best person on earth, but there was no love with him, it was all materialistic. Which is probably why my sister and I were so close, we needed each other in a way.
Youâll never know whatâs around the corner. Iâd love to meet a couple who met through the system, maybe itâs hope for some people. Iâm not 100% into it, I like to make my own path in life, but Iâd like to know who has my number.
I think my sister instilled it into me, she always believed in what I wanted to do, she even helped me with my application to Yale. Singing Valentines? I guess Iâll have to see it for myself! Oh no, not professionally. I usually to the warm ups before I have to sit at a desk for a long period of time, at least then I donât have to pay for a chiropractor.
