She flies with her own wings..

“Hey, does it look like I had it easy today? No more punching, thank you very much.” the boy said and sighed. “To be completely honest, you’re doing a great job as my mother now, no need to disturb the real one.” Dani was hoping, she will stop asking, cause he really didn’t want to share. “And I’ve been dismissed from this family for a while now, so probably she just will yell at you.” he said with a huge smile on his face. “Let’s just believe the story that i saved a sick dog and maybe go grab a coffee? Shall we?”

“Why you’re always looking for troubles, Dani?" the blonde asked, shooking her head. “Well, I can’t blame her. You’re like the biggest jerk I’ve met and the poor woman obviously had enough of your bullshit.” Penny said, trying to sound as nice as she probably could, but it obviously didn’t came out this way. “I - I’m sorry.” she bit her lip and sighed “Yeah, let’s go grab a coffee and I hopefully you’ll tell me what you have been up to. I can help you...eventually.” the girl smiled slightley.

Caiden crossed his arms, raising one eyebrow in the process. Was she being serious right now? “Stop messing with me,” he let out, playfully poking Penny in her side. “Also – fluffy yellow grown chickens? Those are like unicorns, Pen, they don’t exist.” Caiden grinned a little, putting his arms around her waist, pulling her closer. “I don’t know, have a big white wedding eventually, with all our friends and family,” he started, even though he hadn’t proposed yet (he was definitely waiting for the right moment) he thought they’d at least both agree on that. They had been on and off for a couple times, sure, but Caiden had made it very clear that this time, things were serious. “Have kids. Adorable, tiny little kids with blonde hair, with hazel eyes, or blue-greeny ones. And see them grow up. Play soccer with them in the garden.” He had to cut himself off, or else he was going to keep ranting about all his dreams and hopes he had for them. His cheeks turned bright red and he looked down at his feet. “Is it clear that I’ve been thinking a lot about this? As you know, lots of thinking normally isn’t really my thing.” Caiden laughed under his breath. He was just joking around, he couldn’t really get enough of his cousin in his life. Even after all his time, even though he had so many sisters already, Annie was still the one he’d most easily go to. He’d almost say their bond was better than the one he had with his twin sister. “I think she’ll have to put us in seperate rooms in her house and give us, then. Give us an equal amount of attention and listen to both sides of the story,” he imagined, referring to the fact that Caiden would get to Annie too with his problems, just like his girlfriend would.

The blonde laughed at his comment about the chickens. “Now that you said it, an unicorn also sounds like a good pet. And don’t fight me on that. They exist.”  When he changed the subject, she couldn’t help, but smile. Well obviously she wasn’t the only one on this page. Still she couldn’t know when will the big wedding happen, but now she was sure that they both wanted it. “A big white wedding...hm. I can imagine that...” the future with Caiden seemed so bright and amazing, and she couldn’t wait for it. “How many kids? I think about 3 or 4.” she smiled, if it was up to her she would love a whole football team. When his cheeks turned red she placed her hand on his face and laughed softly “Well, I like the fact that you’ve been thinking about this, cause so did I...to be honest, I didn’t want to say anything, cause I thought I’ll scare you away.” Penny admitted. For the first time in ages, she actually felt good. It all felt right and it was a nice feelings. When Caiden said, Annie will need two rooms for both of them to complain, the girl nodded, with a smile “And I’m pretty sure that at the end she’ll go live in China or something, cause she’ll be sick of us.”

“Marina! Well, I kind of didn’t expect to see you here, so I don’t have a decent lie.” Daniel smiled, trying to not get in any more trouble. “You see, I was walking. Like a normal part of this society, and then all of a sudden one guy just hit me. I couldn’t understand why, so I tried to ask him, but he just kept punching my beautiful face and then, there was this dog that I think was sick, cause it was walking too slow and I was like - “Dude, let’s help the dog!” and believe it or not, a street musican started singing  John Lennon’s “Imagine”, and it was a beautiful moment and then this cop came out of nowhere, looked at my eye and just started yelling at me, cause he thought I did something wrong. And it wasn’t like that. So stranger hit me, I try to help a dog and suddenly I’m the bad guy. And of course, I started running, cause I didn’t want any more troubles and then here are you. My hero.”

Penny listened to every single word of this crappy story and rolled her eyes “I really am trying so hard not to punch you.” she said and took a deep breath. “Daniel, care to explain what really happened or should I kick your ass from here to your mom’s house?”

He said the little village thing more as a joke and of course there was Penny again, doing the opposite of what he expected. “I mean – it’s kind of bit of a big change from the Big Apple, don’t you think?” Caiden knew it’d take him a bit more effort to get used to, but if it made his girlfriend happy, he was all in for effort. “But I can imagine myself anywhere with you,” he replied, leaning forward to place a gentle kiss on her cheek. “It’s funny how you’re skipping directly to the being old part though. There’s so much more that comes before that.” Kids… Getting married. He couldn’t say the thought had never crossed his mont before. “Thank you. Those all sounds like great alternatives. And have Annelie as a neighbour? Do we not want to have any privacy anymore?” Caiden joked.

The blonde knew that, small village wasn’t exactly Caiden’s ideal place, and she would never actually force him to live on a place like this, but that didn’t mean she wasn’t going to tease him about it. It was too amusing not to. “But look! We can get goats and pigs and chickens! Oh my god yes...small, fluffy, yellow chickens! How cute would that be!” the girl said and raised her eyebrow waiting for him to start panic. “Much more? Like what” she asked, even though she knew for herself that she wanted to get married and have kids, and Caiden was always the person she imagined these things with, but she kept the thought for herself, cause she really didn’t want to scare him away. Penny laughed at his comment about Annelie and shrugged “Well, I figured that when we get in small stupid fights, I’ll always have a place to go and someone to complain about it and someone who can always offer me a big chocolate cake when I’m upset, but if you don’t feel like it...” she smiled. It was a small talk, but she really already could imagine her life with him and it was amazing.
