Sunny boy's back

Caiden: I'm thinking of proposing to Penny. It has to be perfect.

Caiden: I need your help for something.

Caiden crossed his arms, raising one eyebrow in the process. Was she being serious right now? “Stop messing with me,” he let out, playfully poking Penny in her side. “Also -- fluffy yellow grown chickens? Those are like unicorns, Pen, they don’t exist.” Caiden grinned a little, putting his arms around her waist, pulling her closer. “I don’t know, have a big white wedding eventually, with all our friends and family,” he started, even though he hadn’t proposed yet (he was definitely waiting for the right moment) he thought they’d at least both agree on that. They had been on and off for a couple times, sure, but Caiden had made it very clear that this time, things were serious. “Have kids. Adorable, tiny little kids with blonde hair, with hazel eyes, or blue-greeny ones. And see them grow up. Play soccer with them in the garden.” He had to cut himself off, or else he was going to keep ranting about all his dreams and hopes he had for them. His cheeks turned bright red and he looked down at his feet. “Is it clear that I’ve been thinking a lot about this? As you know, lots of thinking normally isn’t really my thing.” Caiden laughed under his breath. He was just joking around, he couldn’t really get enough of his cousin in his life. Even after all his time, even though he had so many sisters already, Annie was still the one he’d most easily go to. He’d almost say their bond was better than the one he had with his twin sister. “I think she’ll have to put us in seperate rooms in her house and give us, then. Give us an equal amount of attention and listen to both sides of the story,” he imagined, referring to the fact that Caiden would get to Annie too with his problems, just like his girlfriend would.

He said the little village thing more as a joke and of course there was Penny again, doing the opposite of what he expected. “I mean -- it’s kind of bit of a big change from the Big Apple, don’t you think?” Caiden knew it’d take him a bit more effort to get used to, but if it made his girlfriend happy, he was all in for effort. “But I can imagine myself anywhere with you,” he replied, leaning forward to place a gentle kiss on her cheek. “It’s funny how you’re skipping directly to the being old part though. There’s so much more that comes before that.” Kids... Getting married. He couldn’t say the thought had never crossed his mont before. “Thank you. Those all sounds like great alternatives. And have Annelie as a neighbour? Do we not want to have any privacy anymore?” Caiden joked.

"I don’t think I’d agree with you on that. I really treasure this place -- even after all those years. But I’m not going to loose you, Pen. Not again. So wherever you go, I’ll go too eventually. What about Paris, huh? Is that more like your place? Or are you talking about a tiny little village in the middle of nowhere?”
