AHH YES!! I need more of them too! Karma is my favorite, what a man he is!!

“Please… Dance with me…?”

It was just like any other night. Karma and I were sparring together in the woods behind the castle. Since he returned for my birthday, we have been regularly continuing practice.

“Side!” He calls as he taps me.

“Damn you!” I groan, shoving his shoulder with my free hand. He grins victoriously.

“You’ve always had that as your weak point, Lucette.” He teases. He’s right though, I never pay attention to my sides while fighting.

“Shut up and get in position.” I hold my sword up, resting the tip just centimeters from his throat.

“Oooh, threatening.” He grins, stepping back a few feet and holding his own out, the tops of our blades crossing.

His gaze narrows and he sinks into a more sturdy stance. I follow his lead.

I know all of his weaknesses in battle as well. I can easily catch him off guard.

He swings his sword and the metal-on-metal clang, rings through the empty forest. It turns into a dance, an intense one that ends with him on the ground and me sitting atop him, our swords in a stalemate, mine pressed to his just above his face.

I smirk. “Klaude, darling.” I flutter my eyelashes and his cheeks get pink. I know his attention has wavered.

“What…?” His voice is quiet and shaky.

I lean forward to kiss him and his hand slips, my sword hitting his shoulder. I beam as I stand.

“I won.” I smile.

“That’s cheating!” He calls as he sits up.

I start to laugh and sit down in front of him, my legs crossed. He reaches out and takes my hand, our weapons are discarded and forgotten about in this moment.

“That wasn’t very fair, Lucette.” He pouts at me.

“What wasn’t fair?” I mumble, looking down at our hands and playing with his fingers.

“You threw me off by going to kiss me and didn’t even actually do it!” He whines.

I roll my eyes and lean in, planting a soft kiss to his lips. He beams at me and brushes a stray strand of hair behind my ear.

We sit, enjoying the other’s company for a long time. He points out some constellations to me and even makes some cheesy ones up.

Times like these are when I’m happiest.

I stand and offer a hand to him.

“Are you going back inside?” He frowns at me as he laces our fingers, but doesn’t attempt to stand, just sitting and staring at me with pleading eyes.

“No.” I say as my cheeks flush.

“Do you already want to resume practice?” He huffs tiredly.

“N-...No.” I turn away from him, peering out of the corner of my eye and catching a very large grin on his face.

“Well then, why did you want me to stand?”

My face gets redder and his grin gets wider. “Dance with me.” My voice is small, barely audible even to myself.

“What was that?” His stupid smirk makes it clear that he heard me. The silence of the night also gave no reason why he wouldn’t have heard me. I smack the side of his head light enough not to cause any damage, but hard enough for him to feel it.

“You heard me!” I whine. My face is so hot I feel like I may burst.

“No I didn’t, princess. Please repeat that. A little louder this time if you could.” He pulls at my hand gently.

I bite my lip and shift my weight from one leg to another. “...Please… Dance with me…?” I force each word out, frustrated by Karma’s persistence.

I can spot a tinge of pink on his cheeks as he stands, pulling me against him. “Why of course I will. I can’t believe such a beautiful, young mistress has asked a man like me to dance with her.” He jokes and I scowl, with a red face, as I shove him a bit.

“Shut up, stupid.”

He takes my chin between his index finger and thumb, making me face him. Before I can protest, he kisses me. It’s soft and gentle as he pushes my hair back behind my ear.

“I love you, Lucette.” He grins as he pulls me closer to him and starts to sway lazily, his arms rested around my waist.

My arms hug around his neck and I press the side of my head to his chest, listening to the beat of his heart. “I love you too, Klaude.”

We sway and step in a small circle tiredly. I don’t wish to retire to bed just yet.

His arms around me are strong and warm and so comforting. This couldn’t be considered dancing, but it was close enough in my eyes. We could have just stood in an embrace like this for hours and I would’ve been content.

One of his hands slides up and rests between my shoulder blades and his chin rests atop my head. He strokes my hair lazily and hums quietly. Any second spent in Karma’s arms is like heaven to me. I listen to his soft breathing.

I feel his mouth start to move and close my eyes to listen to his words. “I think I like dancing better than sparring.”

This is my first time writing characters that aren’t Karma, Lucette or Waltz so I hope this is still good!!

8. “It feels like I’m watching a divorce every time you two fight.”

It’s no surprise that Myth and Varg are fighting again. It’s always Myth that starts it by getting all pissed off by whatever Varg says to him.

“Didn’t I tell you to leave the princess alone?” Myth starts as he enters the lounge room to find Emelaigne and Varg having a conversation as they sat together on the couch. Emelaigne and Fritz had fallen for one another after Lucette and Waltz had reconnected and fallen in love. Fritz’s affection had worn off on Varg and now they all seemed to be happily together.

Myth was not having it. “I thought you meant the crown princess.” Shrugs Varg, giving Myth a sneer as he pulls the princess closer to him. Her face reddens, though she places her head on his chest anyway.

“Don’t pull that! You know damn well I meant princess Emelaigne!” Myth’s short temper flares and Varg laughs at him.

“You’re just being sour because the woman you love is both dead and didn’t see you as anything but a pawn!” He shakes his head with a devilish grin plastered to his face. Emelaigne sighs at the two of them. They were both quite childish.

“I’ll kill you! I can do that, remember!?” Myth’s face heats.

“Not since princess Lucette gave you that curse as a punishment. Now you’re stuck with party-trick magic like poor little Waltz was!” Varg laughs again, fully amused by all of this while Myth looks like he’s going to explode.

“Well, at least I didn’t settle for the sister of the girl I was in love with.” Myth turns his head with a proud grin on his face, believing he had won the argument.

Varg stands abruptly, causing Emelaigne to fall over on the couch. “I’ll have you know that I love Emelaigne and she isn’t just me settling, Myth.” His tone is icy.

“Sure. I saw the way you followed the crown princess around like a puppy.” Myth eyes the man over.

Varg grabs onto the collar of Myth’s jacket. The pair both start shouting and it’s very apparent that Varg has lost his cool by now.

Emelaigne watches, a bored expression plastered to her face. This was such a common occurrence that it didn’t even phase her anymore. They both take pathetic swings at each other, using petty insults as they go. The fight is so utterly pitiful that Emelaigne feels sorry just watching them.

“It feels like I’m watching a divorce every time you two fight.” She chimes and the men both freeze.

“What did you just say?” Myth glares.

“It feels like I’m watching a divorce. I should know since my mother and father split up,” Emelaigne laughs at the looks on their faces. “I would say their fights were less violent, but… You two haven’t landed a single hit on one another!” She giggles and Varg’s face goes fantastically red, while Myth jumps out of his reach.

“That’s preposterous.” Myth tips his head up.

“Saying such things is wrong, Em!” Frowns Varg. “I thought you loved me!” He feigns hurt.

“Wait... We aren’t dating?”

“Did you just hear what I was saying...?”

“You never make any sense!”

“Stop making excuses.”

“I swore that I’d never love again, you just had to ruin that, didn’t you?”

“You are much stronger than I realized.”

“Wait-... You’re dating them? You hate each other!”

“There’s ‘too much’ and then there’s you.”

“It’s always the same thing with you...”

“Oh, that? That’s just (x) being (x)!” 

“I will beat the title of ‘prince’ right the hell out of you.”

“How did you get that scar?

“It’s just getting good!”

“How blind do you have to not be to see that I’m in love with you!?”

“Can we pretend that this never happened?”

“I could never hate you.”

“What did you wish for?”

“I wished that you loved me back, but we all know that will never come true.”

“Please... Dance with me...?”

“If I could kill you, I would.”

“Sorry, I wasn’t thinking straight.”

“You have such pretty eyes.”

“Just kiss me you coward!”

“Wait, so you’re not straight!?”

“That’s my shirt.”

“I’m disappointed in you.”

“Can I kiss you?”

“I want to show you off to everybody.”

“I wish you could meet my family.”

“Can I touch you?”

“I want to hold your hand.”

“Good thing I didn’t ask for your opinion.”

“I didn’t think you could be any less romantic.”

“Interrupt me one more time, I swear-”

“Say you need me.”

“Admit it or this sword will cut through you like butter.”

“I can’t stop thinking about you...”

“You’re home to me.”

“I finally feel alive.”

“What... is that?”

“I can’t stand to see you cry...”

“I’ve never felt this way and I’m not so sure I like this feeling.”

“Why does nobody tell you that falling in love hurts? Everybody talks about it like it’s so great!”

“Everybody wants somebody who doesn’t want them.”

“I’ve missed you so much and yet I’ve never been more angry.”

“Why did you leave!?”

“I hate you! I hate you so much that I’ve fallen in love with you.”

“Why did it take so long for you to come back!?”

“I want to marry you.”

“Wait-... Are you proposing to me?”

“Why haven’t you kissed me yet?”

“If you’re going to kill me, just do it already and get it over with.”

“You’re not being you.”

“Are you feeling well?”

“You’ve done enough.”

“I never meant to fall in love with you.”

“I was supposed to kill you!”

“Do I really have to do this?”

“I have never been more afraid then I am right now.”

“A dinner with your family?”

“Are we really in love with the same person?”

“I’m so sorry, but I can’t let you have them.”

“I never imagined myself in this situation...”

“I could tell this was your favorite book with all the little notes you’ve written in it.”

“Is that a tattoo?”

“Navy blue brings out my eyes you prick!”

“I’ll kill you!”

“I’m not even worried about it.”

“Why the hell are you always so cold.”

“Here, wear this.”

“If you pass out on me, I swear I will leave you here.”

“Let’s just say that if you were on fire, I wouldn’t even spit on you to put it out.”

“Why do you hate me so much?”

“This is the exact opposite of what I told you to do.”

“You seriously need to quit drinking.”

“Ew, that’s so sappy, I may vomit.”

“I could kill you with a glance.”

“You should’ve said that earlier.”

“I know you’re about to get married, but I’ve been in love with you for longer than I can remember.”

“I’ll see you in the afterlife.”

“You never said you loved them...”

“What’s even the point?”

“If you say one more word, we’re over.”

“Nothing can change what happened, stop reminding me of it.”

“I look great even with a broken nose!”

“Pennies are valuable in hell.”

“Do you even have morals?”

“Then I don’t care, go fuck yourself.”

“That’s what we’re talking about right now!? Really!?”

“I won’t let you have her!”

“The last thing I said to them was to never come back...”

“You... You still wear that?”

Karma: *Flicks hair* "Look! I'm priceless!"

Karma still wears his dresses here and there

At first it was just because after a year of having to go everywhere in a dress he felt more comfortable wearing them out. There was still that fear that he was going to be trampled by rampant women. He also didn’t want that while he was on dates with Lucette and she never quite minded Miss Karma either.

After a while his fear started to dissipate so he no longer needed to wear his dresses, but he still liked how free they seemed to feel and he would sometimes wear them anyway and at first when people would ask questions he would just brush them off in that usual Karma way by saying “Can’t let these beautiful things go to waste! I had them custom made you know! That isn’t cheap!”

Eventually he just gave up on making that excuse and told the people closest to him (the people of the Marchen, even including Rumple) that he just enjoyed dressing up sometimes and they, of course, supported him.
