Like no one understands, if you don’t have depression you don’t fully understand what we go through. You wake up every single morning and the second your eyes open you already feel it. You already feel the pain. It feels like when you find really bad news, or a family member just died. It feels like there’s a hole in your fucking chest and you can’t breathe. It’s so hard to do anything, have normal conversations and smile, it’s the biggest chore. You get angry because you feel the way that you do but there’s nothing you can do about it, so you cut. You cut because for that moment, you don’t feel the pain on the inside. All your focused on is the pain you feel on the outside. The blood and the scars, that’s your focus. It becomes a drug to you, you don’t want to stop because you believe that you deserve the pain. You deserve every bad thing that could possibly happen to you. You don’t see a happy ending. You don’t see any light. And all you wish and pray for, is that you didn’t wake up.
