Sure! I was planning on making a post showing all the Light Fury’s early/concept designs sometime anyway. 

(Also! I got the art book images off the wiki because they were basically the highest quality versions I could find, but it appears the quotes have been edited out [probably for copyright reasons?]. So if anyone is wondering why some images have giant blank spaces/are missing quotes then that’s why lol)

Nico Marlet’s design from the art book is the one most people talk about, and imo it’s easy to see why. It has lots of interesting features and to me it fits into the HTTYD world more than the Light Fury we got. 

A cool axolotl-like design that’s also from the art book.

More nice designs from the art book, I like that the bottom left one actually looks like it was inspired by a snow leopard unlike the final design.

Something I found a while ago on a Discord server I lurk on. It seems to be another version of Nico Marlet’s design, it looks like it may have been shown at that HTTYD art exhibit...?

I found this a few months ago, it seems to feature an earlier design of the Light Fury that imo looks a bit better than the final design. (Source is here.)
