Nah, my life has just been a little while and sometimes returning to something that brought you joy previously, will work again. So this is Opalite and her fusion, Moonstone, with a mysterious unnamed gem!
A kind gem who just wants everyone to be happy. Through her gem, during times of peace she will amplify and emphasize the emotions of other gems, empowering them to act and continue their role. During times of war, she stands alone on the battlefield, draining the emotions from her enemies, controlling and suppressing their drive and fear, leaving them easy to pick off. She just has to be careful, because she can't help interpreting those emotions in herself, sometimes leading to overload. Sometimes resulting in poofing! If she's not careful, her end might be an unlikely shattering.
She's able to rotate completely at each joint of her body like a top. Her weapon is a ribbon wand, but it is very rarely used for anything other than entertainment.
She was created on a planet close to destruction. During her down time, she found a faulty, abandoned gem communicator. When she connected with its other reciever, there was another gem just like her on the other end, on the very same planet! Just entirely on the other side. And an unlikely friendship was created.
Eventually they met from across the entire planet, and their fusion became:
