Innocence Lost

Auden immediately takes ger husband’s hand and gives him a smile, following in to the beautiful place.

“Excited?” He whispers to his wife, smiling.

She rests against him until they get there.

After a bit, the limo pulls up to a fancy door. The driver gets out and opens the door. Emerson climbs out first, holding his hand out for his wife to take. Then only when she’s out of the car does he straighten out his jacket and pants.

[laughs] You should use sunscreen.

I do. But I’m so pale it barely works. Easier ot enjoy the cooler seasons and staying indoors

June shakily shook her head. “Plea- please h-help me…” she covered her head with her hands.

“What do you need help with?”

Let’s go move to England where it’s always rsining.

Englands good. Sounds like a plan.

"Who knows. Out mightvthough. Things like that change."

He smiles.

Emerson walks up to her. "Are you okay?"

Its no good for my skin.

"I doubt death will be coming. Its probably just allergies since fall is approaching."

Emerson smiles happy, draping an arm around her shoulders

Auden leans her head on his shoulder.

"Almost there."

I thought summer was ending. It should not be this hot.
