A random opinion that I believe is unpopular is that it doesn't matter if an author when writing smut put "agedup!character" or something like that, it's still wrong if the character is canonically underage. Like, why would you want to write +18 content for a 12-year-old character and say it's okay because you put that they're 20 in the fanfic? I find that very ... suspicious at least, idk
