      she decided to go looking for new things to plant back at the farm.  the watermelons and corn were great but there were so many plants she had yet to learn about. unfortunately her tablet did not have wifi out here which left her to find her own and where else could be better than the forest outside of beach city?  eyes search the forest as she makes hers way through using what steven calls a  ‘ wacky sack ‘ to hold the various plants she finds.  she’s lost in thought and runs straight into someone as her tiny frame stumbles back. ❝ wooah! ❞ quick movements bring her up and into a defensive stance.  ❝ who’s there? ❞

          ❝ uhhh ,  pearl ? ❞   movements circle around the other before squinting at her .   ❝ are you okay ? ❞    she had heard whispers about the strange behavior of the other but she hadn’t believed it until she saw it for her own eyes.

       fingers worked quickly across the broken control panel .  steven had an idea for a space communicator and she had hoped with what little she found of the she had come on could be used .  maybe with some wires swapped here and there and a few more clicks of the keys ...  the screen comes to life as the keys light up in front of her .    ❝ hmm ... ❞  some of the keys aren’t working which was expected with how the ship went down .  static floods the space around her before the screen changes to show Emerald before her .
