stars-swords-and-mystery:
Meta Knight had been keeping hsi eye on King Dedede as always, as he liked to know exactly when a demon beast was going to come through that portal. This time, however, Dedede had taken a different route and purchased promising mirror or darkness, as the service man had said. The serviceman had not supplied much information on the mirror, only that beings of pure darkness were rumored to manifest themselves form behind the mirror. Days passed, and the mirror remained levitating in the throne room, having nor stirred since being purchased. King Dedede had since lost interest, and was attempting to trick NME into a return for the full purchase price. Right.
Meta Knight, on the other hand, had remained keen on discovering just what this mirror was capable or not capable of, and had it in sights, or that of Sword and Blade, to avoid a surprise. NME didn’t often sell duds, and Meta Knight was not going to let anything get past him.
It had been a week, and Meta Knight observed the mirror intently from behind a pillar. Meta Knight didn’t expect to be anything but bored, but it wasn’t long before he noticed a change in the mirror. The surface appeared to be creating ripples, colors radiating from the waves. Meta Knight peeked out from behind the pillar a little farther, when the movement suddenly stopped. A silence rang through the room, and what felt like an eternity passed, when suddenly the mirror rippled violently, casting out a small, dark grey figure. Meta Knight retreated back behind the pillar to avoid being seen, and took a moment to listen.
Meta Knight heard a small mumbling before he took another gander and again peering around the pillar into the room, and he was immediately drawn to the…. Kirby? The being that stood before him was an exact replica of Kirby, only grey scale. he had heard someone mumbling, which also must mean this Kirby could speak more than the average “poyo.”
Meta Knight wasn’t quite sure how to react, a million possibilities for this occasion running through his mind.
Shadow Kirby kept looking around as he was trying to figure what his next move should be... Maybe it was best the check the room to see if the dark knight was hiding in the room even if that was most unlikely... He took note of the throne chair as he approached it and noticed a few buttons on them... He figured it was best to leave the buttons alone as he had no idea what they were used for and he didn’t to cause any trouble.
Shadow Kirby wandered back to the mirror and tap on it a few times as the reflection rippled before letting out a soft sigh of relief. He was glad that the mirror still work and he was able to return home even if the mirror have been moved the sky...
“At least the mirror still work.” He commented out loud. Although it did made him wondered how the mirror ended up in a different location. Maybe after he was done searching for Dark Meta Knight... He could start on finding out who and why the mirror got moved.
It seems the room was empty...
Maybe if he left the room; he could figure out where the mirror had been moved to and if Dark Meta Knight was truly in the dimension...
That’s when an idea came to his head.
“Oh! I should find Kirby.” He said out loud as he figured that if he tracked down his counterpart; he could ask him if he seen Dark Meta Knight in his dimension and why the mirror got moved.
The shadow puffball slowly approach the large wooden door.
