I need help.

Normally I draw Human rocky without freckles or anything but I read a fanfic where he had freckles now. I think it's a really cute idea and I'm kinda tempted to give him some too.

I think it would really fit him but I already keep forgetting his tattoo so I don't know if I wouldn't be too inconsistent with drawing his freckles. So I'm unsure if I should add them.

After drawing him with freckles once I got another problem/idea. What if I give him moles. I think the moles fit him really well but I have the same problem as before just worse. I already forget his tattoo and I'm worried about forgetting his potential freckles. If I would add moles instead of freckles then the possibility that I will forget them just increases because I wouldn't only need to remember drawing them but also where they are.

So my question is what everyone prefers.

Human rocky and Eridian Grace

Eridian Grace

I made his design very rounded because I love whenever he's described as a blob as a human. I also think that the tiger's eye stone would fit him very well overall, but it's a little too dark for me, so I imagine him a little more pastel.

I think the way he got to be part of the Blib-a crew is very similar to how he did as a human. The reason why he survived the radiation is because he surrounded himself with astrophage experiments and excessively studied them on the ship.

He started teaching after injuring one of his limbs in a risky experiment. Grace had to chisel down a layer around it because of said experiment which ate away at him. It's my interpretation of his lacking lab safety and it ties in with his chemical burns later in the book. He also lost the other half of his family crest in the incident.

He is very lonely for an Eridian living in a rather small community that is mostly made of becolavours and orphaned Eridians that need some watching.

My human rocky design

I'm under the strong belief that movie!rocky is just a nudist and that eridians normally wear clothes like book!rocky did. I normally don't express my belief because clothes aren't fun to draw on eridians. Fight me.

My take on human rocky also is the kind of person that talks to himself in the third person. He talks normally around other people except when he's consecrated or doesn't feel social. Then he only talks in very few words like "Agreement" as an answer to a question or "need [object]" if you can reach it better than him.

The string to his glasses is also made of some fancy stone. Probably some semi precious stone. He's also the exact opposite with his glasses then grace because he likes seeing. They are always either around his neck or on his nose. He tries his best not to lose them in zero g. I think Adrian got the band for him.

I will probably make a separate sketch page for eridian grace at some point and post my headcanons about him there. His design might change a little till then :)
