i dont actually have a consistent design for heart on account of

1. her ability is shapeshifting

2. i get to draw her in more styles and outfits

i do remember she has a hat during the rose factory arc though, so ill get around to that eventually.

hearts moles are entirely my hc, but theyre quite dear to me.

can you tell idk how to draw heels. i love putting cesare paciotti on heart. love the sword thing those shoes got going on.

i chose blue for the dress so her hair can pop more.

ljy designs from base, kingdom crown player promo, and her in the circus

my friend pointed out to me that ljy had a veil in the player promo trailer, which came as a complete surprise to me considering ive always imagined her w an impractically large witch hat

i wanted to keep the veil in her new look in the circus, so i repurposed it as a shawl.

idk about yalls perceptions of them, but to me ljy is purple, t2d is blue, mu ke is green and msc is red

this is the first time ive actually tried using different layer modes and brushes and such. i cant say it wasnt fun and i quite like how it turned out.

the colors looked better on my computer though. idk why it became so saturated on my phone screen.

they are two aroace assholes i came up with bcs i wanted to write male-female relationships that arent romantic or sexual

the one on the left is Fan Zihan (范梓涵) and the one on the right is He Yue (赫月)

they are also canon-typical levels of insane.

i tried some dark purple for her hair for variety, since realistically all of them would have dark brown/black hair due to being ethnically chinese. im not really good at drawing young children yet though

tang erda post and pre makeover. im not a big fan of plucking him clean, but thats what happened in canon.

ive always seen LYZ's appearance as highly Average. not that he has any canon descriptor than i know of? and i added some white hairs bcs he has to deal with bai lius shenanigans.

fang dians most notable descriptions center around her smile, so this design is more influenced by fanarts and such.

he and tang erda are most likely in their middle ages actually. tang erda and su yang in the 658th world line, at the end of the rose factory arc mentioned serving the bureau for 20 years tgt, and in the first world line, they (t2d & sy) joined the bureau at 16. so, if nothing changes between the world lines, tang erda should he in his late 30s.

cbm is just older than that bcs i like perving up middle aged men.

for all that i love abt that novel, i find its lack of concrete character design quite irritating. except for bai liu and spades, i cannot find a solid description for any characters clothing. especially when it comes to the bureau uniform. there are lots of fanart that depicts it as a cop-ish white suit, which personally doesnt make sense to me.

this excerpt comes from tang erdas makeover, and it says "his uniform was taken off, hanging around at his waist", which really only makes sense if its a jumpsuit.

so here is my speculation on what it could look like based off of that.

this design also doesnt fully satisfy me because tang erda was able to take his uniform top off and put it on when he quit the bureau. a real headscratcher.
