“A few days and then we’ll have Bonnie back, Care.” The brunette knew that her best friend was skeptical about the entire situation, and she couldn’t fault her, but she thought it might help if she reminded her of the end goal. The thought of getting her best friend was enough to forget everything else for the moment. “We hadn’t really talked about it, but if that makes you feel better about all of this… I promise.”
