Ten Years have passed since the Alvarez War and Lucy is desperately looking to be rid of her old apartment. With all of her closest friends married with children, in relationships, or recently divorced, Lucy's apartment is emptier than ever and it's time for a change. In an attempt to make more money on the side so she can buy some nice land, she offers to take over as Laxus's assistant while he tries to figure out how to be his own style of guild master.

Thanks to a fire in the library, the pair grows closer as they plan out several fundraisers together, and as Sorcerer Weekly starts whispering about the Guilds two most eligible (and some of their only) bachelors and bachelorettes, the pair gets closer and closer.
