Honestly i think it’s a very smart move to do right now, with the movie coming out next year, to familiarize new audiences with the game that’s pretty much the quintessential Zelda lore introduction. It really is the game that’s really laid out most of the groundwork for what Zelda as a franchise is today and I’m glad it’s getting a modern reimagining like this bc quite frankly the n64 version has aged pretty poorly and while they did port it to 3ds who in the year of our lord 2026 wants to whip out a 3ds to squint at its tiny ass screen.
