y'know, given how Steven KNOWINGLY chose to invite Pearl along on his and Greg's little Empire City vacation hoping to nudge them into a situation where they could finally work things out, him having that awkward little line of showing off his gem and saying "and don't forget Mom :DDDD" was ABSOLUTELY an intentional decision

i’ll probably delete this later but just a friendly neighborhood reminder if you write for brett from eden lake that when you use him as a visual or in your fic banners, you are featuring a 16-17 year old jack o’connell. i historically have always seen a LOT of people doing this (mutuals even) and it’s always struck me as a bit odd, especially in regards to smut fics. even if you write for an AGED UP brett but still use gifs or pics of him from the film for the fic—that is still the visual of a minor you’re sexualizing. it’s one thing to write smut for underage characters that are portrayed by adults or underage readers or ocs bc they are completely works of fiction. but to me, this is a different thing entirely and i figure a year into being active in this fandom, now’s a good time to say something as any. rant over
