JUDE: there's a really good burger place about five mins away from campus

JUDE SENT HIS LOCATION...

BO: oie assmuncher. jfc that seems healthy, can't wait to jump in the middle of it

BO: eh sure why not, i can bring sardines and we can live in there forever.

JUDE: yeah well...shit happened so.

    it wasn’t often that she went to places like this. the bar was far from lila’s usual haunts, more grunge than the overpriced and overdecorated cocktail bars she was familiar with. sometimes, though, she needed a break from it all. it was a relief to go somewhere no one knew her, where she could just pretend to be someone else for a few hours until reality caught up with her. tonight, though, it didn’t even seem like she was getting that long. his voice was still too familiar, recognition sparking before she’d so much as turned around to face him. ‘ i’m full of surprises, ‘ she said, deadpan. tonight she didn’t really feel like playing games. given what had happened the last time they’d crossed paths, the less she saw of him, the better. ‘ but you’re right, ‘ she continued, nose wrinkling in distaste. ‘ this is far more your scene. ‘ 

jude preferred bars with a little edge. most of the people tended to leave him alone, but sometimes he was lucky. sometimes he could provoke a few into the alley for a quick brawl. places like this meant he was just like everyone else, and that was the best part. part of him, however, was happy to see the girl. “that you are,” he agreed, the smile on his face still remaining as he took a sip from his beer. maybe if he was a little less drunk he would’ve left her alone, but jude needed someone. even if she hated him, it was better than nothing. “you look good, lila. really. a little too good for a place like this.” 

JUDE: hey buttfuck. i've been hiding out in my room all day avoiding ro

JUDE: hey my class got cancelled again

her toothy grin only grew as he kept speaking, her eyes following the money like fresh candy. as she plucked it out of his hands, a devilish look took over. “just cause you said that, i’m not paying you back.. ever. and to twist the knife judas, i only owed him twenty. the other half is for sweetie little me to buy something nice,” she smirked. “you think so? i could really cut a bitch in a pencil skirt, right? but you in a pencil skirt… why would i deprive the world of that?”

      she watched as his lips twitched into an apologetic smile, apologising for the girl’s behaviour, which was a habit sienna often coaxed out of those close to her. her eyes rolled quickly, slapping on a polite smile as her head tilted back, “you don’t mind i cut in, right?” tone staying level and not going up an octave as it usually did when someone asked a question; the words coming out more like a fact, than anything. “he’s right, i’m his… sienna,” tongue pinched between her teeth in a teasing grin, before popping another gummy bear into her mouth.  “i’ve got a secret to tell him and this is the perfect time since big party equals lots of privacy,” her eyes trailed down the girl as if she were sizing her up before turning back to jude tugging him back into a world that only consisted of the two of them. “you’ve got to work on my introductions.” she teased, pressing a digit into his chest lightly. her eyes danced around the boy’s features, “you seem off; …distracted. like you haven’t properly slept or jacked off in a minute. what’s wrong? – don’t tell me you’re mad at me and the world again, costa bear.” her lips pull into a faux pout as she moves the red cup to perch between her legs. 

rosie: oh i'm out of line now?? you've been out of line this entire conversation, jude. why are you even texting me right now? shouldn't you be tonsil deep in your date??

rosie: and don't you dare make it seem like i'm some selfish bitch that doesn't want you to be passionate about anything bc that is NOT what i said at all. of course i'm happy for you. of course i want you to be around the people who bring you so much joy and happiness. i'm not about to sit here and explain to you what i mean by that because i already did. i told you all of this that night. i respect your hobby so fucking respect mine.

rosie: and so yeah i haven't been to a show yet and i apologize for that but i can't make anything better if you're going to crucify me every time i do something you don't like or agree with. it was one dinner, jude. one. i'm sorry that i didn't realize how much me missing it would affect you.

jude: don't you fucking get it?? i don't care about the girl! i care about YOU, and sometimes it feels like i am the only one here that does.

jude: just remember that you were the one that told me i needed to do more things for myself. and don't compare playing an instrument to doing coke. one is a hobby and one is a serious problem.

jude: even sienna has gone to one. do you even think about that? someone i fuck from time to time gives more of a shit about me than you do. it's not just about the dinner! it's about EVERYTHING else. we live in the same fucking apartment and you're never home. always out with someone doing god knows what. and you really want to say i'm the one that hasn't been around?

“and do they often get cancelled?” camden asked with a lopsided grin. he wished his classes got cancelled more often. well, the boring ones at least, but that was about 50%. he listened to the guy’s suggestions, making a mental note to write them down later on his ‘movies to watch’ list. it was growing faster than he could ever watch movies. “i’m camden, nice to meet you. so are you like a film major or is this just like.. a big passion of yours or something?”

rosie: i'm saying you're making a bigger deal out of it than it really needs to be. either you wanted to do it or you didn't. end of story. that's it. figure it out.

rosie: i didn't choose sex and drugs over you. what the actual fuck?? i literally told you that i was alone for pretty much the entire night. so what if i decided to go out LATER, POST FESTIVITIES, TO DO A BUMP OR TWO WITH A FRIEND??

rosie: and fine, you're not like jagger. you're actually kind of worse because with you i expect so much more.

rosie: so go ahead and preach loyalty to me when you've literally blown me off so many times for your bandmates in the past few months. go ahead. hypocrisy is really cute on you.

jude: whatever ro.

jude: are you fucking serious??? you really want to get into that whole debate with me?? after everything he's done to you, you think i'm worse than him because i'm upset about you not keeping your word??? you're so fucking out of line it's not even funny.

jude: not once have i ever blown you off, rosie. don't try and make this about me. just because i have a commitment to something that makes me happy doesn't mean i forgot about you. for the first time in my life i found something that i want to do that makes ME happy, and you really want to shit on me for that??

KASH: i kissed somebody’s ex and they’re enraged about it.

KASH: it’s not like i fucked her, right? it was a new year’s kiss!

instead of the victim of his flying popcorn getting mad or annoying, he offered camden mints. it took a second of confused staring at the carton for camden to realise what was happening but then he reached out and took one, plopping down in the seat next to the guy to avoid awkwardly standing around and blocking people’s view when the movie started. “to be honest, i got kind of dragged along to this when i said i was bored. but so far it’s pretty good yeah. might have to check some other old movies out soon. any suggestions?”
