MIND OF MV

For the past 3 years now I've woken up early to go out for a morning run before going to get "Santa's" gifts, and it's become one of my favorite traditions in my life. Running has always had it's way of making me feel relaxed and for those minutes spent running it erases everything all bad in ones life.

Christmas of all days makes me realize how grateful I am for everything in my life. I'm truly bless with an amazing family that I would do absolutely anything for. It's the one day besides thanksgiving that I really think about how fortuniate people are in life and are too greedy sometimes to even realize. On a day like today when it's supposed to be spent with family at home being happy, I realize that people aren't as fortunate to be able to spend the holidays the way they would like. There are people who are spending this day in hospitals with their sick family members, kids who will wake up with no gifts to open, men & women who will wake up in a place not called home fighting a war that sometimes we all question what the fight is for.

Those are just some of the things that people have to go through on such a special day today and I've realized that I've got it really fucking good. Since every year people are always guilty of not keeping their New Years Resolution here's a simple one I hope to go by...

With the supposed "end of the world" being near this year, and I know it's just a hoax but if you think of it as it is not, I'm going to spend the year doing far less complaining about shit that doesn't need complaining about. So complaining about the bartender taking too long to bring me my 27th drink of the night or why my $400 iPhone battery sucks, needs to stop. All you have to do is look at the picture here of the girl to remember what's important in life. People are fighting everyday, some for their own lives with battles against horrible diseases, some are fighting for their own lives to protect our freedom, and then we have people who take life for granted which those people fighting for something would literally do anything in the world to be in a position we are in.

Sometimes love doesn't die out. No matter how long apart or how old you may be it's good to know somethings are just meant to be.
