Instead of having kids due to his lust or plan to use their powers at a later time , the idea of HP and Diego escaping the ghosts of their past that haunt them and wanting to mend their wrongs by bringing up a family that would be all about protecting and teaching them their worthiness ... Makes my heart feel things you know . I DONT EVEN WANT KIDS OF MY OWN, but I think how HP's is very nurturing and caring of life, especially after what she's lost and how broken she's felt for it, and Diego wants to show he is NOTHING like his father and will prove it by being the silliest , whackiest DINO dad ever . Another thing is how I think the moment Diego becomes a dad , although terrified at first, is also the moment his hatred for his father amplifies. How can you have this, and abandon it ? Okay but how cool is it to go to school and when someone bullies you or your brothers you go "MY DAD IS A DINOSAUR YOU BETTER NOT MESS WITH US"

Feeling Less than Human. I don't think it's mentioned often how Diego acquired his stand by sheer willpower and spite alone , when it was forced upon him by Dr.Fernidad. Diego, has clawed his way out of the hole he was put into by the world, and Scary Monsters represents to me the way he feels, that becoming invincible, a monster , someone others fear, would make him feel victorious. As part of the appearance, Diego never really saw what he looked like in his hybrid form. I feel very alone in being someone who highlights that form of his, I genuinely find it worth analysing and adoring too. Not feeling human enough, not feeling monstrous enough. At the end of the day, as much as I think Diego tries to appear as confident and untouchable, he really would benefit from being reminded that he is human, no matter what . Anyway I love Diego this is for the prompt: Angst/ Fluff , you have no idea how much I love to analyse them, I hope it finds the people that love him too

AU: A gag retelling of Love Train, where Hot Pants meets AU Diego and Diego meets AU Hot Pants. The idea that in every alternative universe, these two still worked side by side , to me is an opportunity to explore the idea of a what-if scenario where the "small differences" in the alternative universe led into a butterfly effect , and AU Diego and AU HP are together not only as reluctant allies.
