i like sticking with the original sprites mostly, just adding on extra details like to the hair and glasses and stuff, just to make them more ‘appealing’

Ooh, I really like your Vriska sprite? Something about how the hair and glasses looks especially looks very appealing to me. I like the teeny details like the shine on the lipstick as well! 

so i’m bad at spriting and wanted to get better, so i just randomly practised recreating trolls that were created using the farrrago fiction troll doll maker.

please don’t be easy on my work, and feel free to rip apart anything or everything! thanks!

(btw the highlights specifically on the ears and feet are from damage overtime, hence the yellowish colour if the skin from blood and bruising. can’t remember if that’s possible in canon tho.)

I like the design! The little details you added were a nice touch. I especially liked the small, different colored highlights in the eye holes of the mask. Pretty much the only problem I can really see is that the lineart is wobbly, particularly on the hair, something that I don’t know how else to improve other than practice and meticulous clean up. The lines are rather thin as well, though I admit that’s just a preference of mine to have thicker lines. Maybe try thicker lines for a bit and see if you like it? Experimenting with styles is a nice way to improve.

Most of my HS ocs have stories outside of homestuck you see, and in these stories his name is Fujioka Jun! So I always just call him Jun in my head. 

The mascots for this blog has received a redesign/update! 

Ok, heres the one i really need critique on, my heinoustuck itchy 01 design. Hes supposed to be based off some of the fastest animals on earth (cheetahs, hawks, to a MUCH more minor extent rabbits), but i feel like I kind of did a terrible job.

Also heres the ones im proudest of just so you can see. I know that the background on the crowbar one is fucked but thats because I was on the computer at the time instead of my phone like normal so i basically used online ms paint

Hmm, I think the designs are solid enough! I like Crowbar’s design the best.
