CINEMASCOPE

So, everyone is freaking out that Mamma Mia 2 will have killed off Meryl Streep's character Donna. However, in the trailer, where she appears mostly via footage from the first filme, we can see a new scene of Donna and the Dynamos. We can tell this is new because Julie Walters has white hair, while in the first film she didn't. So, she either died very close to the beggining of the film (which doesn't make sense since no one seems THAT sad) or it was from a while before the movie (and in that case it would've made sense to keep Julie Walters hair dark.) Anyway, this seems, in my apinion, to be a scene near the end of the movie where Donna returns. Or, they take this thing of Amanda's character being so close to Meryl Streep that during her last performance with the Dynamos she magically transforms into Meryl Streep... the best kind of myracles. Anyway, I think this shows that there is still a strong possibility of her being in the movie (alive) and the whole thing is just a marketing stunt to generate buzz for the movie. Anyway, it worked.
