Minato Namikaze

/i don’t do a ton of real RP-ing on here, buuuut in general...

1. biggest thing is probably threads that move waaay too fast? i like giving characters time to flesh out feelings emotionally (esp if they’ve never met!) before getting too intimate, physically and emotionally (while most of my RPs are romantic, i don’t catch feelings in 3 days and neither should my muse, you know?).

2. partners whose muses always have a solution to everything/can see through my muses character. ALSO headcanons + meta are great! i completely agree with giving more depth to characters that don’t get a lot of screen time. but there are levels to that. aghhh

3. taking the thread in a direction completely focused on the other (within reason this is okay, but excessively it’s annoying)

4. and of course, writing partners who make their muses literally gods. (this actually might be the worst, bc naruto is a fighting show, and so are a lot of threads involved in it.) i’m talking like, unable to get hurt ever, makes my muse look weak—which, he just... isn’t— uhh, yeah.

/i really, really want to say he would (bc in an ideal world i’d loooove to imagine how he’d interact w/ baby naruto), but given his track record at providing any sort of emotional support for team 7, i think not... :/

like genuinely think about minato as a character. really think about how many people he’s killed, and how he copes with it. the trauma that comes with that that he just doesn’t show?? that he hides by being a cute + dorky all around pretty man who is also a genius and crazy strategist? how his first thought on how to handle kakashi when obito and rin are killed is to... put the damn kid in... a killing club? :/
