I feel like this costume for esc is HIGHLY underrated, unless it’s being used for ships. No one actually talks about how much more character she has in this costumes au. It’s her ONLY form where she isn’t obsessing over Hollyberry, or busy sleeping in her garden like a lazy hoe. The fandom could’ve done so much with this costumes au, but instead it was a short time thing and then everyone went back to shipping and the drama of the story, just to complain about it later. It’s unfair how much this costume is only liked because it’s pretty, and not for the concept of it.

And I feel like this is with every other costume for the beasts and Ancients. They’re almost always only liked for ships and designs. This may just be me and my friend but I actually enjoy the costumes stories, and I’d like to know more about them or at least see some fan theories/stories. But they’re almost ALWAYS ships. Like golden cheese and burning spices costumes. SOME people only liked it so they could ship burning cheese, SOME complained about the designs. I saw very few posts of people actually liking the story of the costumes. I was so happy when mystic flours costume came out for the millennial tree update because people were actually talking about how it was an AU where she didn’t fall into apathy. But even that was short lived!
