You're not used to the silence.

It's been hours and yet the only sound you can hear is the soft beating of the heart that once belonged to you. Your body is hot and sweaty from hours of slipping in and out sleep and your brain is mushed with an almost calm despair. You're getting used to this, compliant. Luffy would definitely punch some sense into you if he saw you now.. So you will yourself into opening your eyes, lazily scanning the room as you remain limp on the bed, noting the absence of your captor. Still, you dont move. Not for another moment at least as you continue staring at the same spot you've been looking at for.. a week? Month? Who's to say. Your hands ball into fists, wrinkling the bed sheets under them as tears swell up in your eyes. Pathetic, you're so pathetic! Letting your will be broken so easily, how dare you call yourself a pirate!? With those frantic thoughts swimming in your brain you decide to try. You prop yourself up with your arm to sit up but when you do your head starts spinning and your arm gives out causing you to fall back down on the bed. The dizziness takes a while to stop, but when it does you're once again only left with that soft beating. Staring into the darkness for a second longer you close your eyes once again and drift into sleep.

The next time you wake up you can tell he's there without even opening your eyes. The sound of his breathing matches the calm beat of your heart untill it grows fast and unatural. You open your eyes and meet his on instinct, he smiles but doesnt speak. Instead he turnes his gaze to your heart, observing how it beats and no doubt relishing that its just for him. He picks it up, it beats faster. "Law..." you try again to sit up, hand wobbling as you try to fight the dizziness before he lightly pushes you back onto the bed. "Dont move, you'll only hurt yourself."
