I drew this comic earlier this year, but I’m still somewhat in denial about OCD. I always think it isn’t bad enough. It doesn’t help that when I start thinking about if I have OCD, it triggers a ton of rumination that can ruin a whole ass week for me. Which is why it’s also made it really hard to get through a diagnosis process. Which in turn has installed a belief that it can’t be treated, or that I’m untreatable. Or the opposite, that I’m just making it all up in my head so it can’t be that bad. If it goes away when I don’t pay too much attention to it, it can’t be that bad right?

Now that I see this comic though, it’s all way too recognisable.

I even have some other comics I did a year ago that are a lot like these comic pages, in what story they tell about what goes on inside my head.
