Failing Is Not Always Failure

I haven’t done an #SG in a while. No wait…I have done a LOT of SGs lately! Why? I can’t stop. I love the #Gibson SG. Why?

Because #SGs are beautiful. They are beautifully evil looking. They are light weight. They are thin. Because they are light and thin they are comfortable. They come in multiple #pickup configurations too…#Humbuckers, #P90s; one, two or three #pickups. And they come in multiple fanciness levels…Plain like an #SGJunior or all gussied up like an #SGCustom. I can’t imagine Sister #RosettaTharpe rocking that rainy railway platform with anything other than her regal white SG Custom. Can’t imagine #Angus without one either. I don’t even have to say Angus’ last name…You know who I mean, and you know his guitar!

Some people complain about their tendency to “neck dive” but out of the 10 or 12 SGs I have owned not one has been neck heavy. Not one has been more than 7.5 lbs either…and the lightest one is less than 6 lbs! LESS THAN 6 LBS! They are the perfect #guitar for me.
