I wanted to make a long ass post about this but why bother so I’ll just cut right to the chase.

This is not doing me any good, my dysphoria is worse since I started using this hellsite and I just feel like shit all the time (not because the TucTeS bulli me!!1!, but seeing posts all the time, whether it’s discourse or shitty memes, reminding me that I am this and that I can’t change it or do anything about it depresses me). However not all of it is bad, I met an amazing community that helped me understand the mess that is transsexualism and made great friends. I am grateful for that, and forever will be. If it wasn’t for the transmed community I would still think that people “become” transgender because of gender roles.

It took like a week before an artist got death threats over fanart and the devs had to step in and even the devs started getting harassed and death threats.

and before that, people harassed the devs over having to push back the release date so they could work on fixing a game-breaking bug. 

and before that people harassed the devs over the “cult ending” that doesn’t even exist.

and then before that people spread rumors and told people to pirate the game because it was profiting off of LGBT people and developed by cishet white guys (Game Grumps) even though they didn’t do anything except promote the game and lend their voices. 

and as a bonus, that one asshole that tried to scam people into making what was basically a rip off of dream daddy.

It’s literally just drawing them as if they were mommies isntead. Does the transman have to be excluded from being drawn with the others because he’st rans? Can’t be drawn  as a trans woman in what is basically harmless fanart if the guys were women isntead? Seriously?

It also doesnt change the fact that the devs had to step in and tell people to stop telling people to tell sokmeone to kill themselves. And then the devs got attacked for god forbid not condoning it. 

What that artist did was not transphobic. It would have been transphobic if the artist had excluded the trans character and/or kept him as a male while everyone else was turned female. Doing as such would separate him from the other men, making him “other”. Basically if it’s not offensive to genderbend a whole cast of cis men, but it’s transphobic and wrong to genderbend the trans man, you’re saying that trans men are in fact not men. That’s transphobic.

Anyway, the artist did nothing wrong, not even in her design of the bear character who, in fact, had approximately the same amount of fat as she did as a he, just re-located to where women tend to have fat stores. Most women don’t get beer bellies - their fat is stored in the butts, thighs/hips, et cetera. And she still was fat around the stomach too, just without a huge gut which is realistic.

Gay conversion therapy is often a lot more abusive towards the individuals who partake in it, making them watch gay porn while experiencing extreme pain, beating them for their sexuality, etc.

Therapy for pedophiles is typically focused on the pedophile coming to terms with their attraction, and finding ways to minimize it, or deal with it in non-offensing ways. Pedophilia often stems from abuse itself, and therapy can help the individual heal and get past it. POCD can also be treated with therapy and medication.
