/ * ( 𝐑𝐘𝐀𝐍 𝐃𝐄𝐒𝐓𝐈𝐍𝐘, 𝟐𝟑, 𝐂𝐈𝐒𝐅𝐄𝐌𝐀𝐋𝐄, 𝐒𝐇𝐄 / 𝐇𝐄𝐑  ) 𝐌𝐈𝐊𝐀𝐘𝐋𝐀 𝐎'𝐃𝐀𝐘 has finished their interview process and is officially a cast member of the bali life ! let’s give a huge round of applause because this is their 𝐒𝐄𝐂𝐎𝐍𝐃 season with us . in their interview they stated they hope to be known as 𝐌𝐈𝐒𝐒 𝐂𝐎𝐍𝐆𝐄𝐍𝐈𝐀𝐋𝐈𝐓𝐘 and are from 𝐍𝐄𝐖 𝐎𝐑𝐋𝐄𝐀𝐍𝐒 , 𝐋𝐎𝐔𝐈𝐒𝐀𝐍𝐀 . they chose to stay at 𝐇𝐎𝐔𝐒𝐄 𝐀 in room 𝐅𝐎𝐔𝐑 . let’s hope they see it out till the end !

“well…you’re the experienced one. i can’t be the one giving you the advice. but why don’t you just…do both?” she suggests, shrugging her shoulders a little. “let loose. be yourself. have fun. but during each storm, big or small, you choose stability. become the casual observer. don’t let those shutters down,” she tells her sternly. she’s rather surprised by herself. never had she ever gifted someone advice before at all, let alone in such a poetic way. “that actually sounded rather nice, didn’t it?” she giggles.

stassie rolls her eyes at the messy state that the kitchen is already in . “ it’s like with all the grown adults here , you’d think someone would clean up . ” she scoffs , throwing a few dirty dishes into the sink . this adjustment was weird . being away from her family , away from everyone she actually would consider living with . this ? this wasn’t home . it was anything but , actually . “ hey , can you help me with this ? unless … you’re the one who made a very shitty lasagna and bailed without letting the dish soak . ”

“  can’t  argue  with  that  one  .  “  nods  .  this  is  tv  ,  it  was  a  game  at  best  .  everything  is  a  strategy  and  nothing  meant  more  than  to  be  first  &  noticed  .  and  while  this  was  her  gameplay  during  season  one  ,  in  season  two  she  couldn’t  help  but  chuckle  alongside  mikayla’s  words  .  “  bitches  will  try  to  come  victorious  everyday  .  let’s  hope  no  one  tries  some  cheap  &  sad  moves  this  year  .  “  hues  inspect  the  female’s  reaction  through  curled  lashes  .  kennedy  could  be  considered  professional  in  masking  the  way  she  feels  ,  yet  her  reaction  to  this  particular  situation  she  could  not  allow  herself  to  dim  down  .  

“i’m sure i’ll find that out pretty quickly,” she hummed, a small chuckle escaping past her nude peach tinted lips. of course, it must be noted that romee watched the edited version of the show. she didn’t experience it. therefore, she isn’t aware of what mikayla might of gone through entirely. she raises an eyebrow then as the other speaks. “so what you’re saying is…you should be watched? is this a warning?” she teases, laughing softly. 

GALIN: there's a word for this.. i think its codependent

GALIN: which is a shame might i add because i don't think those are good things to feel at fucking all

a new friend is a chance to raise you both higher, for different people bring out different elements of the self. she too sees similarities in their characters, finding that to work out in her favor. the idea of an ally seems cold and belittling. but romee knows she isn’t one for friends. she can’t keep them around long enough. “you’re right. i think that’s what i liked about the show. it always took insane turns. i suppose that’s what made it so difficult to remember you guys are…real people afterall,” she hummed. her eyebrows raise in interest then. “is that so? i’m interested to say the least. care to elaborate or is it too soon?”

she studied the other’s face. the moon casted a halo around her profile, highlighting the shape of her lips and cheekbones. whenever she was high, kendra observed everything. she saw everything, felt everything. she couldn’t help it. “you look fine.” the blonde reassured the other as she pulled her legs from the water and scooted closer until they sat shoulder-to-shoulder. her skin tingled at the physical contact, the warmth radiating from the other’s frame a comforting touch. kendra realized that, perhaps, she really did not want to be alone right now after all. “more like… boring roomies.” kendra admitted, letting out another chuckle. “you know me. i come alive in the night time.” her eyes wandered over the pool. the reflection of the patio lights dancing on the water’s surface almost looked like fireflies, dancing the night away. “it’s weird being back, isn’t it?” the blonde chuckled. “it’s like… going back to your dysfunctional family. you know it’s not necessarily healthy or like… the smart thing to do.” another chuckle as her eyes fell on the sunbeds by the pool. there was not one of them that hadn’t fell victim to one of her angry fits last season. kendra didn’t know why, but it was oddly satisfying throwing them into the pool. almost like a punching bag.“but you want to try another time. hope it will be better this time around. like redemption.” redemption. it’s not necessarily what kendra came back for, but not being portrayed as the crazy bitch with daddy issues would make for a nice change.  she scoffed at the thought as she turned to mikayla, pulling her legs from the water to cross them beneath her. “how you feeling?”

“that’s very true,” she walks around the corner of the couch, plopping herself down onto the plush cushion. this truly was the life. she truly wished she had of applied for the last season. fame and fortune aside, it was a free holiday after all. who could turn that down? “well, if filming starts and it’s anything like it has been these last few hours, i think i’ll pretty quickly forget the cameras are even there. i’m not sure if that’s a good or bad thing though,” she hummed, crossing one leg over the other. “so…what made you come back?”
