As someone who struggles with religion, I think it is very weird that the american left believes muslims are misguided...like I think everyone should question their religion, its healthy to do so but the way that some ppl talk about islam and the hijab like is weird like all religious people r brainwashed or something. I just dont take seriously the flavor of John lennon leftism that genuinely thinks "a world without religion" would change systematic issues. Like trust me there is devotion and worship of corruption, money, power that would still make all the issues we have today still exist in a world "without religion."
