scratch.mit.edu, a coding site intended for children to learn how to do programming with blocks recently released a new TOS that is directly intertwined with generative ai and does not allow for a lot of privacy for children on the site. ( citation Terms of Service Updates - Discuss Scratch ) kids should also be working hard on their own and not relying on some shitty ai to make their code. this is a site for children, not some automated slop. this isnt how you teach kids and it shouldnt be integrated into learning. heres a link to a petition to stop this-- https://www.change.org/p/ban-scratch-from-training-ai-on-art NOTE.
