It was the event of a lifetime, surely. Certainly something no one wanted to miss. The witch herself had stood by her stall up until just an hour ago, making sure all the sales were going smoothly since it was just her and no one else. It was fine that way but it left little time to celebrate during the day. It was just nice to take a break for once.
"I'm sure they'll make it in next time around. Gotta leave a little room for other teams, don't you think?" Mary grinned at James, sipping from her own beverage; the remains of her tea charmed to be chilled. "They have you broadcasting the game, at least, don't they?" It seemed like an important thing. "That's amazing." She turned to fetch something from a box she'd been carrying. "Here. Not sure if this is quite your style but I tried to give it a something of a King Oberon vibe."
James nodded, taking another drink as he listened to his friend. Mary and his friendship was something he didn't know how it came to be, it came a bit effortlessly and he was glad for it.
"i'm sure they will, I understand that we need the variety, but I always know that the host country would have wanted their team to be in the finals." he admitted with a shrug and took the crown from her with a smile, "If you mare it Mare, I'll wear it proudly." he chuckled putting it on. "It is a great honor, they could have chosen anyone, means that the public likes my comments." he admitted.
