I was looking forward to getting home from work today and jumping in to season one, but my excitement was quickly soured, and i know the same is true for other eso players.
Right off the bat, I love the tome system, and while i was excited to go through each page I just kept reminding myself that my enjoyment was made possible by the very people who had just been laid off. Thank you to everyone involved in the changes hitting the game this past year, youāve made a lot of people fall back in love with this world.
But oh man this thieves guild questline, very buggy and maybe it could be patched quicker if they didnāt gut half the team.
I think a lot of people tried to have some optimism after the news from Tuesday, but yesterday all of my positivity drained.

Pet Elder Scrolls peeve: they have real sugar in Tamriel, too, you know.
Like, people do not put moon sugar in their morning tea unless theyāre Sanguinites or Khajiit. They use ACTUAL sugar (or honey, or sweetgnats for the Bosmer, etc).
Other peeve: moon sugar is not really cocaine. Itās literal, actual sugar, just magical sugar from certain kinds of magical sugar cane. It effects everyone except Khajiit kinda like heavy-duty high-THC marijuana (Khajiit are used to it, and so itās effects on them are much milder) except addictive (again, not for the Khajiit unless they REALLY hit it hard).
Skooma, otoh, is basically heroin for everyone. Addictive as hell, harmful to your body, Khajiit included.

The main character will take part in reviving the practice of Sword Singing and will be a manifestation of Hoon Ding. Iām not saying they will continue the Great War pt 2 story line, but if they do it will include the Thalmor (or maybe a mythic dawn esque cult) trying to use the new sword saints to end the world, just like how Yokuda was possibly destroyed by a forbidden Shehai maneuver.
I said the Thalmor might be pulling the strings on this, but i could also see a cult devoted to Satakal attempting to start the next kalpa because they believe the Redguards can make the jump just like their ancestors did.
Iām fully prepared for NONE of this to actually happen, but on the off chance at least one bit is true, you heard it here first.
Iām going to cover my tracks again and because i think thereās a slight chance Bethany Esda is faking us out with the hammerfell setting. If itās not set there, iām saying weāre getting Tes6 in Elsweyr, because of this post from @dubious-wisdom ! I forgot that the void nights even happened, there has to be an explanation of how that even happened

The Witcher 3 is getting a new expansion, Songs of the Past. This will be releasing more than a full decade after the Blood and Wine which came out in 2016.
Would you support Bethesda restarting official development for any of the single player TES games to create new expansions for them?
i heard that bethesda regrets not prolonging time spent releasing content for skyrim and fo4, i think by this point its too late to even try. If anything it would just get people more antsy about future releases
Not to play into speculation about the plot, but I've seen some people suggesting that the player character could be an aspect of HoonDing, and possibly a sword saint. It makes me think about the plot of Redguard and whether or not Cyrus was the aspect or Prince A'tor š¤·āāļø

Giving faces to the Daedric Princes: Meridia, Sanguine, and Nocturnal
Harkening back to my Wattpad days, this is basically doing face claims, choosing actors/models that I think fit each prince. I am in the process of drawing them to reflect these choices, but I wanted to post ab it. I'll be doing a couple of the different PLAYABLE (mostly teehee) races that I think they'd choose to take the form of.
Also this is obviously my opinion so don't come at me like "Actually in line 23 of Coda it explicitly states that Nocturnal only takes the form of mortals with attached ear lobes, so this is inaccurate š"
Meridia
Im going with certified Mothersā¢ for her, like some real matronly and stern actresses, the princes transcend gender, but some of them such as Meridia and Azura definitely favor a feminine appearance. I can see all of the women yelling at me for some arbitrary bullshit, very meridian.
Again its the eyes that make this one for me, I feel like Meridia would love the blue eyed stare
Breton-Nicole Burdette (Tony's younger sister on the Sopranos)
I saw this hair and I immediately saw her character model in ESO. Warning I will be using a lot of Sopranos actors.
Ayleid + Imperial- Katherine Narducci
I feel like Meridia would be cruel enough to take on the same form for these two races, but also I feel like I couldn't not use Katherine for the elder scrolls Italians.

The eyes! but I think she'd be one of the bipedal fur stocks with this coloration.
Sanguine
I'm going mostly for comedians on this one but also some baddies, half merriment and revelry, half seduction and debauchery

I have no explanation, but I feel like this is the kind of Sanguine we actually see in the games, prankster-esque but not as evil as described in the lore. Plus, one of his catchphrases was "the devil made me do it" yeah that's sanguine.

now that's a debuached little man, just imagine him with pointed ears and black eyes. He fits the funny haha aspect but also that's a MAN, like omg stop im blushin

Personally I like when the imperials look more Mediterranean, like give me some Roman Cyrods! I think that when he wants, Sanguine would be an absolute Bad Bitch.

Khajiit- Abyssinian cat (Alfiq specifically or a Dagi maybe)
Idk I read online that they're a very energetic breed, and that they're called the "clowns of the cat kingdom". Wow my mind is so powerful
Nocturnal
For the Ur-Dra themself I think that she would enjoy using different forms even though she looks the same in Skyrim and ESO. She is depicted in a feminine form usually, but due to her domain I think she'd take advantage of being fluid sometimes
Redguard- Tatiana Ali
Nocturnal has been depicted as a young reguard woman in the games, so I went for like 90s Tatiana Ali because I feel like she captures the beauty of her statues but also like a youthful mischief. Does that make sense? Ashley banks would do Nocturnal hijinks!
Nord- Carol Kane
No offense to my queen Carol, but she's who I thought of for an old crone type of figure. Mostly Im basing this choice on Nocturnal's character in the Song of Hrormir.
Dark elf- IDEK what actor I would pick, but I found this art of a child
I would love if someone could find me a link to credit the artist who made the first one, but the second is art from Legends. But yeah I think as a dark elf, Nocturnal would be a small boy, I can't really rationalize it, but I think she'd see the use of taking the form of a child to blend into the shadows? maybe? idk??
Breton/reachmen bc theyre the same in game- Stockard Channing (In Practical Magic)

Khajiit- Sarita Choudhury (Ohmes-raht)
OK HEAR ME OUT! Mostly I just love Sarita and I wanted to include her at some point, but I couldn't fit her anywhere else. However, when combing through the UESP, I found that Ohmes and Ohmes-raht Khajiit are apparently the best spies sent to Tamriel from Elsweyr, so what better for Noctra to be?

Here's a pro-tip: always complete the DLC side questlines (the ones like Balmora in Morrowind and the Royal Menagerie in Summerset) before finishing the main questline! You always get a really sweet extra scene in the ending ;)
I swear I need to stop just rushing the main zone stories. I feel like I never expect there to be anything more than just a random function held in the palaceā¢ where characters go "wow thank god you saved us all!" This scene though reminds me of the good ending of far harbour where the villagers spare Acadia.

Out of idle curiosity, I went back to check in on Proctor Luciana Pullo longggg after completing the Clockwork City DLC, and I found her like this in her study, unresponsive.
I understand it's likely just the fact that her active AI ceased to function after the completion of the main story quest, but like... you would think, similarly to Vivec after the events of the main Morrowind quest, she alongside Provost Varuni would have some kind of generic post-DLC dialogue.
