Simplicity Can Be Perfection

"No," the other guard said, "we've worked together for years!"

"-but you can trust me when I say-"

"I can't, you have the curse that's opposite from mine!"

"I don't care for you at all."

"Another simple day in the field." The soul reaper talked to himself as he slid on his black jacket. He had just arrived in the world of the living not too long ago, but didn't want to go out without changing into what he considered to be more comfortable clothes. Kizato then stood up and jumped out the window of the apartment room he had rented out, running at a steady pace on the air and above the buildings below him.

"There's been talk of 'paranormal activity' in this area." he talked to himself with a small grin, it was like something right out of a book... humans always wrote interesting stories and books about ghosts. And sometimes, like today, real life ghosts would cause a ruckus and it had a possibility to make it into the news, or more often the newspaper. That's where he learned about it. 'Paranormal activity in large abandoned house scheduled for demolition has left the workers too scared to work.' is what he recalled the newspaper basically summing up. Speaking of said large abandoned house, he stopped and stared at the house down in front of him.

"So a ghost doesn't want humans demolishing the house?" Time to talk down a, whom he hoped, was a calm ghost so he could help them move on. And with that, he walked inside only to be almost bump into a figure running down the hallway, who then seemed to run around a corner. "Wha-HEY!" He shouted after them, then sighed to himself. If it was some random human messing around, they wouldn't even be able to see him. Though he was surprised to see the figure stop and look back at him for a moment, only for the lights to flicker and turn off for a moment, then they turned back on and they were gone.

"Damn kids..." Grumbling to herself as she roamed the halls of the 'abandoned' building. The seals she had in place were completely messed up by someone or people doing their own impromptu seance trying to channel who knew what, but it resulted in her work being tampered, and the spirit residing going berserk.

Hearing a crash from across the building she decided to start to walk faster, but with a scream following the crash she started running instead already annoyed and dreading the extra work and pain in the butt this would be.

In her haste she nearly collided with someone who just seemed to enter. She paused for a second when he called out, but then the lights flickered and she couldn't stop anymore and bolted. Using the layout she could remember to get back to the room she laid out her runes initially. Arriving though everything was a mess, the spirit was rampaging until it seen her. She let out a "STOP!" But that seemed to act as a trigger and it ran instead, through a wall, and who knew how many more.

Hearing some whimpering she looked and seen A couple of teens in what looked like ceremonial robes huddled in fear by a desk. "GET THE FUCK OUT!" Pointing the way back she came before she ran in and through the room, only for her to be greeted with a chair flying at her, knocking her onto her backside.
