I’M SO SORRY THIS TOOK SO LONG! And sure! A lot of them are AUs though.

However, I would strongly recommend these two fics:

Repairs, Retrofits and Upgrades - Post Book 4, Korra and Asami work together with the rest of the gang to deal with the aftermath of Kuvira’s surrender with new threats arising. This is what you would expect from the LOK Comics. progmanx captures the characters’ essence well and beware of Chapter 9. (ongoing)

It’s Such a Gorgeous Sight to See You in the Middle of the Night - Slowburn College Roommates AU. Due to conflicting schedules, Korra has yet to see her roommate despite sharing the same apartment for 2 months. This one is ridiculously good and I like how they capture Korra and Asami’s characters and relationship. This is the first fanfic I ever read and this is what started sucking me in to reading other fanfics. (completed)

Here’s a couple of fics that I also recommend that have been completed:

Republic City Blues - RC AU, taking after prohibition America. The Water Tribe’s most daring young detective sets her blue eyes on Republic City, where she’s tasked with doing the impossible - infiltrating the infamous Sato syndicate, and living to talk about it.

Sato, #22, Shooting Guard - Slowburn Basketball AU. Korra and Asami become teammates for the National Team, and find they click both on and off the court.

And here are some fics that are still ongoing:

The Blacksmith’s Favor - Slowburn Medieval AU. Korra, a knight-commander for her father’s kingdom, struggles with her duties as a peacekeeper after a brutal civil war. After her father pressures her to take a more diplomatic role, Korra finds herself causing more fights than preventing them. Having no where else to turn, she seeks out help from her close friend Asami, the blacksmith’s daughter. Updates every Sunday.

Conflict Resolution - Modern AU. Korra enjoys being a radio show host, especially since she gets to help people find balance in their lives with her advice. What they don’t know is that her personal life is nothing short of a wreck. After crashing and burning on all her relationships, Korra is content to be a failure at her own love life. But things never go quite as planned.

What If This Storm Ends - Asami’s whole life has been steeped in war - her family and the chiefs of the south have been at each other’s throats for generations. Wanting anything for peace, she agrees to the riskiest solution with Chief Tonraq’s daughter. Can I add that what I love most about this fic is Asami’s relationship to Mako and Bolin?

Recovery - AU where Asami does go with Korra to the South Pole. Updates frequently.

…probably not, actually.  I mean, that’s a little hard to see coming.
