However, looking at this as textual analysis, I think it’s missing a ton of the core pieces of the Next World Mural (note that in-game this has a name! this is important. The writers could have called it the “True Love Mural” but they didn’t. They called it the “Next World Mural”. That’s key too). 

The text of the Next World Mural is as follows:

TRUE LOVE IS POSSIBLE ONLY IN THE NEXT WORLD – FOR NEW PEOPLE IT IS TOO LATE FOR US  WREAK HAVOC ON THE MIDDLE CLASS

You’ll note that the mural is from Grand Couron, a failed real estate development – probably for upper middle class people who never stuck around with their capital near Revachol. 

“Wreak havoc on the middle class” is a key part to the Next World Mural. I always read this scene as a particular commentary on the class war. True Love (love free from the bounds of poverty trauma, of the trauma of class war) is possible in the next world (the world free of class distinctions, of extreme inequality) – for new people (the inheritors of the post-revolutionary world). It is too late for us. Wreak have on the middle class (sometimes seen as the Enemy by the working class).

You’ll also note that “wreak havoc on the middle class” is something that Harry can echo in his dialogue about the case, which adds to his communist reputation.
