M's Daily Thoughts

Went to the dentist today and got a filling. I could not feel my face for 4 hours. Had the weeknd song stuck in my head all afternoon. The dentist had to use the anesthesia twice cause he didn’t wait a sufficient time for it to kick in the first time. Could not eat for a while in fear of biting myself

Went on the ski trip with VSA to Seven Springs! Had a ton of fun going down all the slopes that were open. At one point it started blizzarding so hard that we couldn’t see anything in front of us. I met a little snowman on the slopes with the oddest body proportions I’ve ever seen. At the lodge, we played games and had a blast. Overall, a super fun trip and so happy I got to ski at least once this winter. Really looking forward to the first snow of the year here.

Went out to Iron Age with friends. It's an all you can eat Korean barbeque place. The food was so good and so filling. I waddled my way out of the restaurant. We hung out at a friends house where I played with their dog and hamster. Upon arriving home just in time for dinner, my mother tried to feed me spaghetti. Didn't eat much considering I was still overstuffed from the lunch buffet. Overall a happy day for my stomach.

Posting these a couple days after cause I’m awful at remembering to post. Went to our friends house for a new years day party. We have been to their party before so I knew what to expect. As predicted the hostess wore the most ridiculous bright blue dress. She looked like she was headed off to prom. The host made us sit around at a table and share our college experiences. They wanted an honest account of our experiences but quite frankly I don’t think they want to know what truly goes down at college. All in all an interesting start to the new year

Uneventful past couple of days. Finished watching Jessica Jones and started on How to Get Away with Murder. Both shows are dark but extremely good

IT'S CHRISTMAS!! Jason was super excited to open all of his presents. Started watching Jessica Jones. So so so good. Also watched Star Wars Ep II. Surprised I didn't watch these before.

Just enjoyed a Christmas eve meal of hot pot. It seems that hot pot has become out go to for holiday meals.

I literally have no life. Spent all day in my pjs watching TV. I think its time I picked up a new hobby. My couch potato habits are much too exhausting for me.

Yet another uneventful day. Jason stole my banana and fed it to his stuffed monkey Jojo. Kevin attempted to convince Jason that sriracha was ketchup. Jason was not fooled. Jason also received a letter from Santa to which he had a very apathetic reaction.

Helped Jason write a letter to Santa. Hopefully he gets a response from the big man up at the North Pole

Woke up to the sound of Santa on a motorcycle. I guess he’s found a more efficient form of transportation. Poor reindeers who are out of a job though.

Day 1 of break: Relaxing and contemplating the stress free-ness of life at the moment. Biggest decision made today was the decision to get out of bed to eat. I would say I’ve accomplished everything I wished to accomplish today

Such a struggle to wake up this morning. The trend of waking up at the last minute has finally begun.
