COMPANY is a contemporary dance company based in Durham, NC. By utilizing both composition and improvisation, and reconsidering existing ideas about movement and content, the goal of artistic director Justin Tornow is to experiment with the formality of modern and contemporary dance. COMPANY is currently comprised of 4 dance artists developing and presenting new work at various local and regional performances.

A short I produced with Lindsay Lassiter in partnership with the Carolina Farm Stewardship Association and with the support of The Frank Hawkins Kenan Institute of Private Enterprise and the US Economic Development Administration. The project's goal was to highlight the people and businesses supporting and growing local food in Beaufort County, North Carolina.

An Untamed Science short I worked on about research being done on white squirrel populations in the United States.

SEEDs is a non-profit educational community garden in Durham, NC, that teaches respect for life, for the earth & for each other through gardening & growing food. An award winning short I produced and edited with Untamed Science about climbing the Grand Tetons. The movie was shot in 3D using two GoPro cameras mounted next to each other, but this is the 2D version. The Firefly Gathering offers a wide range of classes for adults and children on primitive skills, permaculture, nature connection, and eco-homesteading that are designed to be applied to enhance everyday life. The gathering brings together a bevy of inspiring, amazing people. Besides classes, it offers evening entertainment, basic infrastructure, and on-site camping.

The first in a series of short films highlighting the rise of farm to table culture in the triangle area of North Carolina, these films follow food from it's harvest on a local farm, through the kitchen of a local restaurant to your plate!

One example of twelve videos I created capturing each student's final presentation and seamlessly integrating it with their audio or video project.

A work in progress, this project was started before the peanut planting and growing season began so I will be going back throughout the year to film more of the process. I am currently producing a shorter documentary focused on Terri Rogister, sponsored by the Southern Foodways Alliance.
