So I'm sitting at my gate waiting to fly home from Texas and they page my name up to the counter. I walk up and the pilot shakes my hand, smiles and says "Are you Michele McLaughlin? You have a fan on this flight!" And then he invites me to come board early and sit in the cockpit while he gives me a lesson about flying and planes and what they do to keep us safe. Best experience ever!!! Made my day.
