Inktober…Day 2

October 2- Wisp

“I’m telling you to look again, 8-5.”

There was a moment of silence from the earpiece the tech wore. The comms were real-time and he knew that the silence was pure irritation with him for his demand.

“And I’m telling you, Home, that there is nothing out here. We’ve been over it twice. It was a mech. Or glitch in the ‘wares.”

Or tech error, you mean.

The tech caught…

In an effort to have some writing fun and rebuild some habits I have let lapse…I have taken a book of sci-fi prompts my daughter gifted me and have asked her and my wife to pick one that I will then use with the word of the day. It is challenging.

I am late in posting and a day behind but here is Thursday’s:

Another Tori this weekend, this time held at the VFW hall on Rt 12 in Fitzwilliam NH. The hours are from 9 am to 2 pm and I will have a table filled, very briefly, with copies of Huntsman and Dagger, books One and Two of The Hunted Mage Trilogy. I say briefly because last time I sold all I had, so move fast! I suggest a run on my table at 10ish to snatch them all up for Christmas and Hanukkah…

There’s a Tori happening next week…a Finnish market. As my books are set in Finland AD 1019, I have rented a table to try to sell some books next Sunday.
