Kiss the Scientist and Revelry kill it at Transplants Brewing.
Nice. Very nice. But super slightly stiff, dry and mid pit. Half the mfs only wanted to record or didn't know the songs by heart. I didn't know half the songs either but what stood for Revelry is Fragile and for Kiss the Scientist is Just for Me. I have no clue why the pit hardly had any momentum. It discouraged me from moshing or circling. Props to the janitor for cleaning a spill in the pit. His presence set it right. Another moment was the chicks in the pit and one of them dancing with the singer of Revelry. Great job for both.
8.5/10 high energy original music from pop punk/Midwest emo to 'heavy pop' but the pit could've been more engaging so minus 1.5 because of that. Standout songs: "Just for Me" and "Fragile"
Slow Crush at the Observatory performance 3/13/2026
Phenomenal performance. Very phenomenal. Eerie smoke. purple laser lights. It's not a moment like any other, it's the moment you couldn't sweat out. The aesthetics were so mesmerizing that you'd feel the groove and beat down to your feet. The venue was amazing. The huge ventilation and fan over the general audience area was what won me because you don't have not a lot of musky smells masking up the room at all. Two closure songs Cherry and Glow to really pump the mosh pit. Not your typical icing on the cake, but if you'd fw like you can resonate the lyrics and flow of the music, you'd know stuff is about to get pumping. Though a lot of elbow bumping in the pit, not too weak but it did have that that lighter side of crowd hurting energy not normally found in shoegaze shows but for hardcore punk, grind, and hip hop type music or noise. In fact, those type of music for select bands or artist do have that more aggressive side as the lighter side can be prominent as well. 10/10 EXPERIENCE !!!
I couldn't have been there without Slow Crush and She's Green.
