hi, im unsure if you answer asks, but i'm curious to know if you have any recommendations for film cameras or tips for buying the right camera?
your photos are gorgeous, im in awe. headford looks beautiful through your lens :)
Thank you kindly!
There now follows very cheesy advice:
The best camera is the one you have.
That doesn’t mean you shouldn’t invest in a good camera, it just means you should have your eyes peeled for a good shot at all times. See something cool? Whip out your phone ASAP.
If you’d like to get into film, any old point and shoot will usually get you pretty cool results. The camera your dad took on your family holiday in 2005 can probably get really nice images. From there, you can get a nice second hand SLR on ebay or any local charity shop/swap website. Good brands to look out for are Praktica and Pentax, as well as modern brands like Canon & Nikon.
There’s also a lot of youtube channels with good advice. Negative Feedback is a good place to start, dig through the archives!
Two abandoned houses in Headford, Co.Galway.
Though this might fruitless and potentially interpreted as virtue signaling;
Transphobes are not welcome to follow me. If you cannot respect someone’s freedom to interpret and present their gender as they choose, you need to walk up a big hill and rethink your life. If you’ve done so found it no avail, go fuck yourself.

The pass of Máméan at the base of Binn Chaonaigh. A Christian pilgrimage or a pagan one, depending on your persuasion.

A thousand notes! Nice!
It might sound a little dumb but I'd like to thank everyone, I don't think any of my photos has ever gotten this much attention. It's nice to know my luddite hobby for film photography has value for other people.
