BITCH! Ciara and Nicki’s “I’m Out” Mixed with Demi Lovato’s “Sorry not Sorry”.. this scalped me
Here’s the full version
This is amazing
Black writers do not have to justify why they specify black!reader. Black writers are tired of having to defend what they write and how they write. You, or anyone else for that matter, aren’t owed an explanation.
Also, your language (“aggressive/defensive”) towards two black women is borderline racist. She stood up for herself and her craft, and you instantly labeled her as being “aggressive”, which is a genuine issue that black people, mainly black women, deal with day in and day out.
That’s why you should be ashamed of yourself. Be better.
You say it’s borderline racist yet no matter what color they are I would’ve still said it. I do not care or mind that they are black and I will not treat them any differently then anyone else because they are such. You say I instantly labeled them as aggressive yet how is what they said to be taken any other way but such? I also never said I wanted or was owed an explanation. Everyone has a right to do as they please. And why is it just black writers you speak of? Why not writers of any race who catch shit? Writers of all races receive slandering comments and messages yet people ignore that. But as soon as someone’s race is put into play they automatically get defended. This is my point. No one can learn or better themselves if people don’t speak and talk things out without being judgmental or hostile.
Whether you would’ve said it to any woman of any race doesn’t matter. What matters is that you said it to a Black woman. And that word is stigmatized and derogative to Black women. It’s a microaggresion.
She’s speaking about black writers because the conversation is about black writers and why they choose to label things as they do.
That same ideology could’ve been applied to the original comment but it wasn’t. You could’ve asked why a black woman writer may have been hurt or offended by that anon, but dismissed it as aggressive.
This is quite tone deaf.
It is not just stigmatized and derogative to black woman and assuming being called hostile and aggressive is just insulting to black woman is quite insulting. If someone called you aggressive or hostile it would still be just as insulting. When a person, man, or woman or any of the sorts is called hostile or aggressive it shouldn’t matter their sex or color. It should always be insulting to some degree not stigmatized to one race and sex. Yes. I could’ve asked why they got hurt and defensive but when I first read the post (and I’ve now been told and shown that I was being naive and too forgiving) it looked like someone was getting an anon ask and they were trying to be genuine only to be met with hostility. Therefore I stood up for the anon. I have been shown and proven that the anon wasn’t being genuine and I have apologized about defending someone I should have not.
“Yes, I could’ve asked why they got hurt and defensive but when I first read that post it looked like some one was getting an anon ask and they were being genuine only to be met with hostility. Therefore I stood up for the anon”
Get the FUCK out of here with that white savior syndrome BULLSHIT.
Oh my god I am fuming right now.
Usually I can keep my calm and some kind of composure when dealing with Tumblrs never ending stream of drama but this is ridiculous.
@deanking How dare you.
That’s the first thought that came to mind when reading your callous responses.
And then I sat back and realized that of course you would.
Of course you would poke your nose into this post and give YOUR opinions and talk about YOUR feelings and defend someone because YOU simply wanted to.
Because you felt like you could speak over black women. Over their feelings on a particular topic that literally had zero to do with you and everything to do with them explains why THIS SPACE IN THE FANDOM HAS BEEN FAUGHT FOR.
Because you felt you could. I’m sure this isn’t the first time on this site or in your real life that you’ve done it.
But it is an ever increasing trend on this platform.
I’m so sick of seeing black content creators having to defend the space they’ve created for themselves BECAUSE IT WASNT HERE BEFORE. There was no fucking space for us!
I’m so sick of seeing black content creators note count lowballed BECAUSE they let it be known that they’re black. That they’re black women, writing black women.
And I’m sick of seeing posts like this where people who are dead fucking wrong and who just pop into drama for the discourse try to explain themselves in paragraphs, while all the wile completely missing the point. And completely speaking over black content creators who have the right to feel upset! And to express that feeling however they see fit.
Time after time Tumblr, and it’s users. Show their asses.
I can see your racism peeking out, Becky. Your thinly veiled defenses which include a poor attempt at throwing other races into the pot to negate the fact that you’re trying to tell black people how to feel, on an issue where black people were directly addressed.
I swear people like this are the same people who hit you with that “I don’t see color; you could be black white brown or purple for all I care” in real life.
have you ever seen a tweet that just knocks you the fuck out
i can’t believe there are people that are still in high school like… it’s literally 2018 how have you not grown up yet damn
Are you perhaps some sort of idiot?

they're really letting just about anyone advertise on this site, huh
Some ya’ll who are younger need to google Frank Serpico and read about his time in the NYPD and what the cops did to him and attempted to do to him up until the late 90′s. He literally had to go into hiding in Italy and Switzerland and multiple times people tried to kill him. He only came back to America after the mafia (who hated the NYPD a lot, obviously) said “you’re under our protection.”
